Honestly, it's fine. I adjusted to the size really quickly. Concerns about the size from people who don't have one are really overblown. Those of you that have had a Plus for a long period of time - how do you live with it?

If you can swing for the X, I would. I can't use the smaller iPhone because the battery life is so much weaker than the Plus, and I'm a career photographer / cinematographer so I have to have the latest camera tech in my pocket - so I've absolutely loved the perks of the Plus, not to mention the higher DPI display and stuff.
The X will get you the bigger display in a size you can more easily manage in the hand, and it's a stone's throw away from the 8 Plus in price if you think about it over a year or two. Personally, I'm hoping for an X Plus next year in the size of the traditional Plus but filled with display.
OK, as an artist, aesthetics often rule for me. But not in this case. Yes, I have my 6S in an Otterbox case (not the largest, heaviest but one that protects the phone and screen from drops). I'm clumsy, distracted, work and teach on concrete floors (studio and classrooms) and have small or non-existent pockets. And cats. You can bet that I'll put my new 8+ in a case! I don't wear belts often so at least I can save you from seeing that horror.I’m a big guy, so I got used to the 6+‘s size right away. Fits perfectly in my back pocket with a very slim hard case. Now these guys in my office with the Plus size phones encased in those horrid bulletproof Otterbox cases and clipped to their belts? Turrible. It’s even worse when they have the smaller 6/7 in a case and it’s bigger than a plus model. Turrible.
I'm starting to believe the issue is with having tiny hands for a guy. I'm 6'0" and 190lbs but my hands are the size of a petite female.
Wish my experience with a plus was as easy as others, love that screen size.

If I'm not wearing a jacket, and try and put my phone in my pants/jeans/shorts pocket it's too big and hangs out/falls out
