Exactly what I just did. I called my local store and pled my case with no luck. My girlfriend went up there and changed their minds (assuming she showed some nip) the manager said he would hold one 64gb 6+ sspace gray for me! Don't even have to wait in line!
She told me she was going to swing by att and fix it after she got off work. I told her not to waste her gas or breath on em. Called me back 30 min later and I'm in better shape then I was before the screw upROFL!

I was on the phone trying to sort out contact info and billing for my 6+. After a while she says "good news! I canceled your order and placed another" that was her solution to getting all my info to match. My orgianal ship date was October 2nd. Now I'm towards the end of November. I am at a loss for words.

Playing the victim and attacking the carrier will only gain the support of fellow victims. Pointing the finger and blaming is futile.

I don't know the OP's story, so I can't +1 that. But people being their own worst enemy is exactly what I think when I see all the posts of "I'm gong to call..." "I just had a live chat and they will..." "I am going to order two then cancel one..." The more you monkey with the system, call, and badger the more you are asking for someone to fumble finger your order right into the 'does not compute, cancel order, next' bit bucket. Short of calling for a big reason, like not getting a follow up confirmation email, there is little to be gained.
