White = 16GB. It had baseband 4.xx and bootloader 5.09, so it wasn't unlockable.
Not bad at all!

Seeing as AT&T has given us upgrade eligibility, I will probably end up signing for another two years and buying the new one for the contract price. Figure I'll either see my White 3G or just give it to a family member...
So what's the rationale behind people buying these phones.. Is it really there just naive to the fact that a brand new one will be announced... Or is there some lucrative underground demand for old iphone parts?
The General, where did you sell yours if you don't mind me asking?
I've got my pristine (literally, it is flawless. Even got a whole new display via Apple a week ago) iPhone 3G 8GB, and I want to wait till we all find out AT&T's plan for us 3G users, and what the price for us will be.
Do you think I'd still be able to get ~$350 after the new iPhone is announced and prices are set?

I can't stand the idea of selling mine and waiting. If I sold it now what would I do until the new one is released? My iPhone is on all the time and it is always by my side. I am usually streaming music or listening to the iPod.
Nope, can't do it.
got $400 for mine today, sold it on ebay, someone ended the auction early with Buy it Now.
I got $550.00 for my Black 16GB a couple of days ago. I checked closed auction prices prior to listing and they were going for 500-600 at the time so I listed mine with a "buy it now" price of $550.00. It didn't take long to sell.
Was it used?
What do you all think about the starting list price???
Is $500 too much to ask???
16GB Black pristine condition...
If anyone else is planning to sell your iPhone on eBay I would caution you to add buyer requirements to your account before listing. You can eliminate those with unpaid strikes, out of country bidders, and zero feedback. I've been a seller for 10 years and this is the only category I've ever had any real difficulty with buyers and absolutely hate selling cell phones.
ima a total newbie at selling on ebay, is that a option one can select while putting an item up for sale?
Yes, it is under the "Other things you would like your buyers to know" section of your create your listing page(just click change buyer requirements at the very bottom). Or you can follow the instructions at http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/buyer-requirements.html
are these prices all for unlocked phones or just standard issue att iphone 3gs?
