That's complete rubbish. He hasn't lost any time, the iPhone 6 is a little over a month old. Besides why wait for the 6S when he can just wait for the iPhone 7 or 7S. I heard those will be better than the 6S

Wait less than 12 months for a new phone? Easy. He doesn't like the 6, give him a better solution.

What you're proposing is a 24-36 month wait, now that is complete rubbish.

As a matter of fact, I've had a look at most of your post history and 99% of what you suggest is complete rubbish so I think OP should ignore your post and listen to me.

I have the 6+

When I used it first it was too big, now it's perfect

I held my dads iPhone 6 and its too small..

+ model for life

I am a dreadful decision maker, I have no qualms about that. But a $700 device warrants a fair assessment.

When I first bought it it was a bit awkward to hold coming from a 4S, but I decided to give myself time to adjust. After a couple weeks, I had definitely adapted to it but it still wasn't quite as comfortable as the 4S. I took it back to the Apple Store where I discovered that I was a day late; the day you receive the device counts as day 1. Not to worry, AT&T gave me the go ahead to send it back to them and so I printed out the return label and tried for another few days to see if I got used to it any more. If not, I planned to buy a 5S off eBay, which I thought would be a happy medium.

I was practically 50/50 - loved the phone and how smooth it felt and how fast it was, but still wasn't 100% used to the width and one handed use. I finally mailed it back, and upon going back to my 4S it instantly felt too small!! I found myself squinting to see the text on it and even using it felt weird. I feel like even a 5S would feel/look too small now.

I know I know, I'm crazy. Now I'm debating calling and having the post office in TX recall the delivery and send it back to me.

I'm just trying to figure out - am I just wanting it because it's gone now or did I really get used to and can't go back to the tiny 4S/5S? Sorry so long this is honestly one of the toughest times I've had making a decision.

As your therapist, you are crazy :p. Get it back, buy it back, whatever it takes. How do you function at work if you find deciding between a 4S, 5S, and 6 tough. I'm sure you can be medicated for this.

You probably could do it - only difficulty is the fact that you used a return label, depending on the shipping method - if you said I returned the wrong item or something I bet you could. :p

Shouldn't AT&T have processed my return and my upgrade be reversed by now? I mailed it on Wed.

Your right the 4s is too small.:D

I have a 4S and came from a large Windows phone--this actually took a while to adjust to, especially the tiny keyboard. But now I love how small it is. Slips in my pocket. In fact, I got a case that doubles as a wallet and I've been able to get rid of my wallet all together because of the size.

A friend of mine just switched from the 4S to the 6. Yesterday, he saw my 4S and said, "Wow! I don't remember this being so tiny!" You definitely adjust to what you get used to!

From what I gather, everybody likes the 5S form factor more than the 6. People like the 6 for its better camera, battery, screen real estate and of course (most of all, for many) because it's the new iphone. But nobody is psyched about the way it feels in their hand and their pocket. That's why I'm leaning toward upgrading my 4S to a 5S.

I love how the 5S feels in my hand! After playing with the 6 and 6+ for a long, long time at the Apple Store the phone I like best is… my 5S.

Wait, I remember you posted something before, but didn't you say you purchased an iphone at the Apple store? Or did you purchased it at AT&T store? Because if you purchased the phone at the Apple store, you would have returned it to the apple store and not the AT&T store.

I say you use the 4s for a couple weeks. You will probably readjust to the small size as your brain forgets the large phone experience. Human beings adapt well to things. I went from a large android down to a 5s last year because I got tired of android. It took a little getting used to, but now, I love the size of the 5s.

I don't think I'll ever go above a 4.5 inch phone. I have iPads for consumption. My phone is great for phone calls, text messages, emails. and light browsing, fits in my tight jeans and feels great using one-handed.

I ordered it through Apple online but when Apple turned me away stating I was a day late, I contacted AT&T and they agreed to return it. Not sure how it works, said something about an upgrade reversal.

That is odd. I'm sure AT&T doesn't accept a return that wasn't purchased through them. Unless they do? I don't know.

AFAIK, if it was purchased via apple.com it's considered a POS (Point of Sale) at Apple. So AT&T can't actually reverse the upgrade. I've had this happen to me when I returned the 6 Plus (purchased at apple store) when I was on AT&T Next and when I returned the 6 Plus, I didn't get the eligibility back and when I contacted AT&T, they told me they couldn't reverse the upgrade because I didn't buy it through them, and I had to do it the place I purchased it (Apple). Apple couldn't reverse it either. But Apple had a person who bridges both AT&T and Apple and she had the authority to reset my eligibility.

Wish you luck in getting your eligibility back.

Oh ***** seriously? Where did you return the 6 plus?

yes, this is because the 5s looks and feels much more premium than the 6. the 5s is the best compromise of weight, size and usability.

I bought it at Apple store and returned it at Apple store. Somehow when I returned it, the AT&T NEXT didn't reset itself and was stuck. It took 14 days to get this thing resolved.

I was in the exact same boat, only with my iPhone 5, which is the same width as your 4s. An iPhone 5s is a worthy upgrade for you, and the perfect size since you prefer the same width as your 4s.

I'm hoping Apple gives us an iPhone 6s in a 4" form again (in addition to 4.7" and 5.5"). I've nothing against big phones, they just aren't for me, and I hope there's enough people like me that Apple caters to us again.

One thing I hated about the iPhone 6 is the curved glass edges, I'd get glare appearing there all the time and it was quite irritating/distracting. Going back to my flat screened iPhone 5 was a relief.

Ok so I might be in luck since I returned my directly to AT&T. I've already spoken to them on the phone and my upgrade will be reversed immediately upon receipt of my device.

Since I started using my 6 almost 3 weeks ago, my 4S (now with the missus) feels really tiny... But, I am still not comfortable using the 6... I guess a 4.3 would have been the perfect size... Well, that's just me though...

Exactly! I hope Apple gets that a lot of customers feel this way and adds a third option.

I'm pretty sure the 5s is the 3rd option. It is still very fast since it doesn't have to drive as many pixels. It does lack Apple pay functionality, unfortunately.

Sorry but you are crazy.
I understand 6+ might be too big for some. I totally get that, but go back to 4S from 6 that is absolutely ludicrous.

I actually owned a 4.7" phone for awhile before eventually returning to my iPhone 4 because I missed iOS, so I'm really used to the feeling of "OMG my phone screen was that small?!?" when I changed back. On the day that I got my 6, I used it for 30 mins before bringing it into a shop to get a screen protector. While the store assistant was applying it for me, I took out my iPhone 4 and thought to myself, "Hmm, I wonder how long it will take before my iPhone 4 starts to look like a toy...HOLY CRAP OMG THE SCREEN LOOKS SO TINY HOW DID I PUT UP WITH THIS FOR 4 YEARS?!?"

I do miss the compactness of the 4 sometimes, but overall I've gotten used to it. The iP6 still fits in my pockets (by fit, I mean >half of the phone goes into my pocket), and I've managed to adapt myself to use it one-handed most of the time.

I don't think anything could ever convince me to go back. Once in awhile I'll take a look at the screen and admire how glorious and magnificent it is to have a large screen. At times I wonder if it would be better if the screen was slightly smaller (say, 4.3"?), but the other day I watched a full-HD movie on it and it made me truly appreciate the full 4.7" of screen estate.

I find that I'm starting to use my phone a lot more these days. I viewed my old iPhone 4 as a smartphone that allowed me to surf the net, browse social media, message my friends, check my email, and had the capability to play music and videos.

On the other hand I'm starting to view my iPhone 6 as a mini-PC. Surfing the net is smoother and better than before with the larger screen and more powerful processor. Messaging is faster with 3rd party keyboards like Swype/SwiftKey. 4G is fast enough to stream music through the internet. Videos are much more pleasurable to watch on the larger screen. I don't even need to download videos to my computer then transfer it. Now I can simply download it straight using my phone.

You will buy a 6s or a 7 in the next years anyway and will be saying how it's perfect and how it fits your hand so well compared to 6s+ or 7+. These kind of posts make me laugh. People said that about the 4S compared to 5, now about 5S compared to the 6 and eventually about 6S compared to 6S+
