I know there's this 8/8+ vs X debate. But I'm just curious...is there anybody who's gonna get both?

I will get 8 Plus. But I will also get the X just to test it out and maybe return it within the return window.

I think what you meant to ask was, is there anyone here that wipes their bum with $20 bills? That would be just about as wasteful as buying an 8+ and turning around and buying the X a month later.

I'm gonna buy a new Audi next week. I'll probably get rid of it for a BMW in a month or so. :D

You know there are people who will do this because they have to have the new iPhone whenever one comes out.

Which is weird to me. Are people this OCD about everything else in life? Do they trade their cars in each model year because the new model has 1 new feature? New TV every year too?

That said, I DO tend to upgrade phones each year myself, but only because I don't find it that much cheaper to keep it for 2 years due to the drop in resale value at the 2 year mark vs. 1 year mark. My phones are always in pristine condition and I tend to sell them for about $250 less than I paid for them 1 year earlier. $250/year to have the latest model is a bargain in my mind.

People have been conditioned to consider their smartphone as part of their personal identity. That's why there are such vicious Apple vs. Samsung debates. It's like a religion. As such, some people as I said can't resist having the latest phone.

I am getting the X, 8 and 8 plus. I am getting it in every color so I got a nice collection aswel.

Cant just have 1 phone with 1 color.
