Shuddup you, and gimme back my bread.

Missing your bread eh?

How's the Adelaide water these days?

No bread, no water, big sharks in the ocean... Gimme a gaol anyday. :D

Hey! Adelaide water has all the Fluoride one could possibly need. I still want my bread back, you thieving vagabond.

Yep, 100% of your lifetime Fluoride intake in just one 30mL shot.:D

Oh and dynamicv, keep laughing...

Gotta hate mid-winter eh? Look at that little cloud in the top right, ruining what would've been a decent day.

That's not a cloud, that's a boat.

*Mumbles something about the education level of the convicts*

Typical free-settler, flaunting his hoity toity university education about for all to see...

I know, but every time you post those pics, I just remember when I went to Melbourne once it was 52˚C during the day according to the thermometer. That's just wrong.

I love Australia, especially New South Wales, but I couldn't live there. Especially after watching Wolf Creek

Wolf Creek?

The bad guy in Wolf Creek used to be the resident handyman on "Better Homes and Gardens." I can't take him seriously in that movie, I keep thinking he's about to turn to camera and tell us in his typical "Aussie Larrikin" way how to put together a nice day-bed or a set of bookshelves.

52°C? Luxury...

I'm British. bam! but not southern. so I'm no "taaaar iil", I'm "towah hell". in my amalgamation of yorkshire, lancashire and manchester accent.

PICTURES OF MY AREA. Because that needed caps. Think Last of the Summer Wine.

While we're comparing pen... locations, here's a photo from my balcony.
I'd rather compare pen....

*staggers around in the darkness trying to find a pen.. to compare*

Hey, there's a whole thread for those views form your window... ;)

To add to the pictures I posted there: You still need something like a spectacular sunrise

P6210042.jpg

or a full moon combined with the first snow

IM000519.jpg

to make the view anything special...

But combined with my walk home, I think this is as nice a place as anywhere to live, even if we have wet, mild summer and wet, mild winters. At an hour and a half by plane from London, it's actually not too far off "civilization", either... if I just could afford the airfare... ;)

Ugh... beach... sand ... sun.... not my favourite environment... :(

And you need some more pollution to get that strong red colour in that sunrise... :D

I prefer the mountains... either hiking in the summer or alpine skiing in the winter... ;)

What was this thread about, anyway...? ;-)
