Ugh... beach... sand ... sun.... not my favourite environment... :(

And you need some more pollution to get that strong red colour in that sunrise... :D

I prefer the mountains... either hiking in the summer or alpine skiing in the winter... ;)

What was this thread about, anyway...? ;-)

Me too, off to the snow in a week and a half.

Mountains > beach, definitely. But I'm not a 200m walk from the Snowy Mountains here so those will have to do for now.

Can't remember really but I think Mad Jew ruined it.

I know the feeling, I'm 2 and 4-5 hours drive away from the two Summer ski centres at Folgefonni and Stryn, and just prefer hiking up some of the mountains surrounding Bergen instead...

Yeah, he always does that... : rolleyes :

J/K ;-)

Luckily, the dry ski slope near me kinda burnt down so it is being replaced with a proper snow dome and ice rink. Go fire!!! bringer of all good things.

Hey, I wasn't offended. It was in another era that this line was randomly put
on the globe. It was a nice coincedence seeing that map together with a post from someone from London.

But next time center the map more east please.... :)

It used to run through Paris until Harrison solved the "longitude problem."

So what was the point of this thread again?

The point is that the Mac Rumours forums are the beginning of the "New British Empire!" First we'll take over their forums, Pinky, and then the world! :D

Again...?

Didn't the first time round teach you Brits anything...? You can only hold on to a quarter of the world for so long before everything blows up in your face. Quite literally...

You under-estimate the power of the "Stiff Upper Lip" at your peril.

Yeah, but we've been practising our witty putdowns and best villain voices since then. You might as well change your Location to "Greater Scotland" now. It's only a matter of time.
