Could someone have "cloned" your phone (SIM and IEMI) and be using your account to make their phone calls?
+1 ^^^ pay the ETF and get to the nearest T-Mobile Store...![]()
We were practically engaged, and it just turned into a very nasty mess over posessions, etc (she wanted to keep stuff that was at her house at the time we broke up, etc..) and just constant bickering back and fourth from both sides. I didn't want to screw up her future, so I restrained from getting one on her, but she did not feel the same about me apparently, lol. They hand the things out to anyone for anything at all anymore, and in my case, I was served with one over nothing, just because she felt 'threatened' that I would try to retrieve my belongings. I am now no longer allowed to own, fire, or be anywhere near a gun or other weapon (its standard procedure, and is a federal felony if I am anywhere near a gun now). I cannot even go hunting with my friends. I have never threatened her, or even thought about threatening her, and have never caused or wished any harm to her. I was stripped of my rights simply because she felt threatened that I would try to get my clothes and computer equipment back.
I will be contacting a lawyer over the next few days (if they dont shut off my phone first!) and hopefully something will be done about this. I dont want to become rich over some BS lawsuit, but instead just want to problem to be solved, and for AT&T to reverse the charges for the calls I obviously did not make.
Heh. Well I don't trust anyone working in any customer [fill in the blank] department. I'll tell you a little tale about an issue I've had with my ATI 3870 Mac & PC edition: (and to keep it short) I had a problem with the card and wanted to RMA it for a replacement. After giving ATI my part number and serial number they claimed they don't make any such card, told me it was made by someone else and that they couldn't help me.The lady pretty much called me a liar insisting I made those calls, and she also said that visual voicemail does in fact use minutes (this was told to me by the lady I was talking to in the customer disputes apartment.)
Absolutely whacky. I read your previous thread on this issue and I do hope you can get it sorted out. I would also worry about the security of your account, since your voice plan also somehow got changed. In fact I'd probably be thinking about dumping AT&T altogether and getting a new account with a new number at T-mobile, provided you get good reception and that changing the number is an option, which I dunno if it is in your case. I switched to AT&T because TMO has a terrible single at my house, so going back isn't a realistic option for me. But then I've had no problems with my bill either. This screenshot is better since it shows my plan.... There are several issues with it, can anyone guess what they are?
I'm guessing the court order should stay regardless of her alleged involvement. This OP is a bit ... erratic.Whats the possibility that your ex-girlfriend changed your account? did she have access to it?
Wonder if you could get that court order against you thrown out if you can prove it was her.

I love how there are cries of "sue sue sue" all over here. Fact, there was a mistake made, AT&T has dealt with it in typical AT&T low-level customer service fashion, a lawyer will be necessary to send a nice little letter and AT&T will roll. No one is going to sue, no one will ever see a day in a courtroom over this, and most of all, no one will ever know wtf happened. Again, the lawyer is necessary and at this point because the bill was paid there are damages. A threat of a suit is key ... an actual lawsuit will probably never happen.
Yeah, I don't think a law suit is the way to go. But a lawyer's help is needed.
