We watched the last two episodes over the past two evenings for various reasons we've had to Sky Plus them and watch it later. I have to say, that was startlingly good television. I particularly liked the motive behind the 456's scheme, I really wasn't expecting that reason at all.
All credit to the BBC for putting something so wonderfully bleak on its main channel, at prime time for a whole week.
I agree. It was nice to watch something that didn't take the easy way out at the end. More power to their elbow, I say!
(Coupled with the surprisingly good Occupation from a few weeks back, the current Moon Season on BBC4 and the Doctor Who repeats on BBC3, I've been giving the iPlayer a bit of of a hiding recently.)
