Yes, that would be nice, but OTA sync exists in Installer:

OTA sync to .Mac
OTA sync to MS Exchange.

The OTA sync is what I miss most about my old Blackjack. There was none of this fooling around with plugging into my computer just to update my schedule.

Just jailbreak w/ZiPHone, and you can do all that today on 1.1.3...

VPN 802.1x would be great. I have been asking for this from day one and didnt know why it wasnt included in the first place. I also want the leopard style dock like on the Ipod Touch. I had it when my phone was jailbroken, but lost it when I updated. oh well.. I would also like to be able to place .DOC and PDF Files on my iphone and actually view them offline instead of having to attach them in emails. Thats about it. If I could get those three things, then I think I am set.

  • Additional Bluetooth profiles (e.g., A2DP, DUN)
  • File storage with additional viewers

  • YouTube improvements (e.g., comments, subscriptions)
  • iCal improvements (e.g., group)
  • Camera options (e.g., resolution, white balance)
  • More widgets
  • Additional file format support
  • Wi-Fi only mode (disable GSM/GPRS/EDGE)
  • Custom tones for text message, new voicemail, new mail, sent mail, calendar alerts, lock sounds, keyboard clicks
  • Set default alarm tone
  • Add favorite contact to Home Screen
  • Hide application from Home Screen
  • Wireless syncing (WiFi, GPRS/EDGE)

Yea, BT is way too crippled compared to desktop Macs...

I would really like the ability to actually do things with bluetooth, right now there is no point in having it. People say to me "did i hear right somewhere that it doesn't have bluetooth?" and i'm like "oh no it does, it just cant do anything with it".

Must have -

Bluetooth expanded - Why shouldn't we be able to transfer files? Also, not everyone can use earbuds, Steve!
Voice dialing - It boggles my mind that this has not been implemented yet
MMS - 'Nuff said
Video recording with uploading to YouTube - You use YouTube as a selling point, it should be a no-brainer
Flash - Again, no-brainer
Ability to "flip" keyboard portrait/landscape no matter what app I am in - It boggles my mind that this also hasn't been implemented yet
Enabled disk use - A no-brainer and would make the iPhone much more appealing

Would be nice -

3G
Voice memos
View DOC/XLS/PPT/PDF documents
Ability to use iPhone as modem (3G/EDGE) for MB/MBP
Cheaper way to add custom ring tones

That's all I can think of right now.

MMS, MMS, iChat, Copy/paste and Flash. Oh yeah, did I mention MMS?

I would also like the ability to delete multiple emails at once. It would also be good if Steve gave us the preview option for email, the one he showed off at the original iPhone keynote.

the ability to switch the phone/edge off but leave the wifi on would be reeeeaaaally useful to me.

sometimes, i need to be able to get my email but not take calls.

also would be very handy when going abroad.

+ MMS
+ Copy/Paste
+ Search
+ Flash
+ To Do list
+ Disk Mode
+ Transfer data via Bluetooth

I'm finding more and more the need for a reminder tone/vibrate for missed calls/texts/voicemail.

true speed dial.

i want to touch an icon on my home screen and have it immediately call the person i assign.

Hear, hear. People go on and on about comparatively useless stuff like MMS, but I hope Apple spends more time thinking about the little things like this.

How can people say cheaper ringtones?? Have they noticed that on any other phone, the crappy pre-defined ringtones are at least 1.99, mostly 2.49?? Apple let's you edit the ringtone and has an already huge catalog of chocies. You can't expect a better product at lesser cost.....sorry.

....and to add to your post...you can't get any cheaper then "FREE" with Garageband (Mac) and Audacity (Win) and the ability to create your own for nothing...how much "cheaper" does the BOSS want?

maybe someone should start a 1.1.5 wishlist since 1.1.4 was mainly bug fixes.

I understand the people with wants and desires but lets not forget that bug fix releases are a very good thing.
