I'm a university student and fortunately for me I don't have classes scheduled on Fridays until October 20th. After that I will be student teaching at a local middle school and will be there all day everyday until sometime in December.

Well, I have PT and Vacation Days to use up...sooo, why not, still getting paid! Lol. 3 day weekend!:D

Luckily for me we get our birthday off with pay and my birthday the last few years has fell on launch week. So, instead of taking my birthday off with pay, it's officially iphone launch day with pay.

Thank God my office was already closed Friday, so it worked out great for my delivery!

Actually look forward to going to work tomorrow. And staying late if I need for the UPS delivery. I got four coming to my office. That doesn't include the few hundred all my colleagues and coworkers ordered as well. Bring the pallet of iPhones in Mr UPS.

I'll be home (working) all day Friday, waiting for UPS to deliver. Except to take my kid to and from school I'll be here to get my phone when it delivers!

I am having mine held at UPS, which is just around the corner from my office. They don't open until 9:30 and I'll be off work by 12. So no need to call out.

I have the option to work from home, but I'll be in the office office most likely. I'll just wait to play with my three phones when I get back home.

Grand Central is a block and a half away so I'll probably pop over their during lunch to check out the new phones and maybe buy a case or two for me and my girlfriend.

College is overrated. Networking will land you a job.

Unfortunately I have to agree with this statement. Graduated with a bachelors in English thinking I would go for my PhD and become a professor, but then decided to take a career in Marketing.

Flash forward a few years later and here I am a now working in creative at an advertising agency all because my best friend is a director there. It really is who you know these days.

It depends, college got me my job but those that tend to major in the sciences do better than those in humanities. Otherwise, you need to work it.

Just pulled up a list of EVERY favour Ive helped them out over the past few months... Let me have Friday off and we call it even :D

Besides Im still going to be doing a fair amount of work on the mac while waiting inline :p

Just came home from the hospital last night from surgery for a fractured arm, so I'm off and will be bringing my butt out to go pick up our phones.

Not able to get off, but I did switch from a 1p-10p shift, to the 8a-5p shift. That way my phone doesn't have to sit all alone at home for too long without me.

Its going to be a VERY long 9 hour shift though! ALMOST TIME!
