Good choice. I went for a black AWU 3 this time but the natural titanium really did pair better with most of my bands. I'm going to give it a few days, but I may (reluctantly) exchange it.
That’s why I stuck with the natural, it suits my band collection better. It’s a tough call though

I wore Casio G-Shock wrist watches for years. But when I purchased my first iPhone, it became a pocket watch, and I stopped wearing the G-Shock watches. I always liked the black heavy-duty cases the G-Shocks have.

Just got my jet black 42mm s11 and I'm amazed at how well it feels on the wrist. Coming from the 45mm s9. I don't know if it's the smaller size or the thinner body, or just my wrist, but I'm glad I downsized. I also love the Anchor Blue sport loop.

i am wanting to upgrade my SS apple watch series 5 to either the SS10 or SS11 or even the ultra 3 but not to sure on what to go for to be honest as there all in the same price bracket

What do you use the AW for currently ?

Any future features you need ?

I went from AW5, 7, most recent 9 w/cellular and got the Ultra 3 because of the satellite messaging & 5G service as a small plane pilot.

I went from a SS5 to the Ultra 3. It really bothered me spending the basically same money for less of a product. And what really drew me in was I have people in my life who if they couldn’t destroy the watch and it lasted for them. That’s good enough for me.

The ultra 3 has insane battery life, a large very easy to read screen. The ocean band is growing on me. Seems durable. Charges insanely fast. I’ve forgotten my phone or just decided not to take it, when going out. Its cellular modem is crazy good. Plus you’ve got satellite. I would go with the ultra 3. Your jaw will drop.

Plus it seems like the ultras get much better battery life along with better trade in values.

I bought a refurb S10 Ti from Apple the week the S11 was launching. Paid same price as a regular S11+cellular. Worth looking at if unsure as the S10=>S11 changes are so minimal.

In my case, I’m unsure about what to do:

  • I bought a Series 10 Titanium (46 mm), brand new (just damaged packaging), on Amazon for €600.
  • The order was delayed, so they gave me a €30 voucher as compensation (the watch is supposed to arrive on October 3rd).
  • I currently have a Series 7 Titanium, which I’m very happy with in terms of screen durability and it’s still in perfect condition, but the battery doesn’t last much anymore. I’ve never used the cellular function (and I don’t think I ever will).
  • Now I’m wondering if it wouldn’t be better to return the Series 10 Titanium (when it arrives) and instead buy a Series 11 Aluminum (I know the glass is worse, but I could even use a screen protector) which would have better battery life, and would cost me €449 after applying the Amazon voucher.

Any opinions on what I should do? Better AW 10 Titanium or AW 11 Aluminum, saving €150?

How long are you thinking of keeping it? If you are an annual upgrader, then maybe go for the Aluminum, if you plan on keeping it for 2-3 years maybe the titanium. My theory is that although they do the same, you look at it every day, multiple times a day, so if you will be looking at it for 3-4 years, go for the look you like.

I've never owned an Apple Watch but I'm honestly looking at getting a Series 9, because beyond the main chip upgrade I do not notice any big differences between the health sensors. So yeah, the health sensors are the big reason I'm thinking of getting one, and from what I've read online that part didn't change very much between series 9 to 11.

Figured it would be a good way to get into using an Apple Watch without dropping too much since I can get a series 9 used.

Excellent idea. Good way to see if you like the product and if not, you won't take a huge hit on re-sale.

There’s very little difference between 9/10/11 as you say. The 10 & 11 have slightly bigger screens and slimmer body. 10 is also lighter than 9 IIRC. Where I am (UK), the difference in price between 9 and 10 in the Apple Refurb store is minimal so may be worth considering.
