Wow, what's wrong with it?

Ah, some maint-stuff.. oil change, tire rotation/balance, brake check, NC inspection. But apparently my "serpentine belt" has some serious premature wear (it drives my alternator amongst other things), the rear brake drums need cleaning, and some engine & brake & steering fluid flushing crap. Read: nickel & dimage.

But I'm surprising my wife with a road-trip to DC this weekend, so I need this bastard to run right, and (hopefully) get decent gas milage.

Cornholed and lovin' it.

If only I knew as much about the internal combustion engine as I know about Macs..

There's a Dane Cook blurb about a mechanic talking about tiny unicorns leaping around inside his exhaust poking holes and ********. That's about how I feel. :)

Black 2006 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner (4-cylinder)

i love it. gets 23 mpg on avg, and you can't tell a difference between it and the V6 by looking at it
Heh, OK, but let's try freeway merging or towing stuff and see if you can tell the difference. ;)

Although I wouldn't mind the black...

I love those...that's such low mileage too (3K/yr).

I have a 1997 Saab 9000 Anniversary Edition (between the CSE and the Aero).

I kinda miss my old Volvos (i owned 3) - all 240's, all slow, and all indestructable.

Ditto. We have 3 Hyundais (Hyundai owns Kia) and they are excellent cars. Not a single problem except for a busted power window motor in my Tib that was fixed under warranty.

My sister 2001 Grand Cherokee died in the middle of the road about 20min ago. She is stranded, my mom's going to pick her up.

well considering i don't tow anything (don't even have a hitch on it) and considering i can drive 95 mph down the freeway and still get over 20 mpg, i'm still happy with mine ;)

Yes the 240 is indestructible, my car is living proof of it. Dog slow as u said, I can have my foot all the way on the gas, and I can shift aggressively, but the car still takes 20 seconds to hit 60.

1991 Toyota Corolla

I love it, I just wish it would stop falling apart on me. (Truth be told, it's in really good condition, but after 15 years, parts just need replacing!)

Ooo, that can't be good. Hopefully it's not something major!

The Grand Cherokee after 6 months of owning it blew the transmission. And the sensor in the radiator keeps on thinking the radiator coolant is low. The Cherokee is at 140K miles and well is pretty much dead. It should of lasted longer. It is still running, but my brother is pretty much milking it until it out right ceases up. My parents are trying to convince him to buy a new car. My brother has a problem spending his money( including me! :p ). My mom has had 2 Suburbans. A 1996 model and the 2002 model. The 1996 model had no problems and the 2002 is having the same story as the '96 so far at 58K miles. The Equinox did have a bad bearing, but that was fixed easily under warranty. A minor problem.

me 04 lexus ES 330
