Think I'm going with Magpul.

I like the look and feel and at $10 can't beat it

Magpul is the best low profile case out there, imho :)

I have that exact one you pictured and have loved it for times my Commuter was too bulky.

I also just picked up their Gen2 Field Cases (without the Executive heading) and got it in the mail yesterday. Fit is just as perfect, but there's a bigger opening for the camera and flash as well as a longer opening to accommodate the 4S/Verizion phones.

I am pretty much sold on the Incipio Feather case for my 4S, although a few things are brought up in reviews:

- The cases are slippery in your hand to hold (matte colours are better)
- The camera/flash cutout isn't big enough and can reflect light from the flash (might be fixed in the lates version, I am told)
- It might scratch the iPhone itself when you fit/remove the case

To anyone who uses the Incipio cases, what are your experiences with them?

Ordered the SGP Linear Crystal in Black

Image

and I will be adding the beveled black metal back insert from cnn.cn

Image

I also ordered the oem diffuser to go on the metal insert and will compare photos/videos with the oem back, metal insert, and then metal insert with the oem diffuser

I am looking forward to your follow up!

edit: nevermind, I see you canceled your order.

I think im going to get the pixelskin hd first. Apparently the new 4S cases need a larger camera hole cut out and Speck is the only company as far as I know that modified their cases.

Well its what Speck says, and I don't really see a reason why they would change all of their cases if it wasn't lol.

It was strictly a speck issue because of the thickness and type of material they used. I believe it was causing some reflection of the flash. They had to change there's because of their own screw up.

I've used their Pixelskin HD for the iPhone 4 since it came out and never had a problem with the flash so I don't think its that. When I get my 4S ill put it on the case I got now and see if theres a flash issue.

I was only talking about the candyshell. Or it could be that they are lying about the whole thing because some shills will believe them and run out and buy a new case. There is nothing different about the physical shape of the camera that would require a new case.

Hmm, Could be I guess. I like the Pixelskin HD, So i'll be getting it anyway :p Plus they do have good customer support.

ordered an otterbox commuter, just got an e-mail saying they don't know when they'll ship, hopefully soon though :<

otterbox also made the camera cut out bigger

I've had the Feather before, nice thin case and all but there's no lip protection, the entire front outer edge is exposed.

Anyways, I will be using this case.

Yeah I was looking forward to the write up as well...but after seeing the iFixit article comparing the GSM and CDMA phones, I had to cancel the order.

I also read that the metal back replacements can reduce phone reception, so if I do anything to the phone other than the case, it will probably just be a phantomskinz kit.

i like orange as well
