I cannot use it due to my accent is different. But the previous phone that I had is a Samsung galaxy S and it worked perfectly. Siri does not work at all.

I'd use it if it would let me execute UNIX commands. I'd love to say "Siri, sudo rm -rf /Applications/Game\ Center.app".

I definitely don't use it. Didn't even enable it when it asked me on my ipad mini.

I typically use Siri to set reminders, alarms and timers a couple of times a week. Since Apple added sports information, I've used Siri more on game day to follow scores and such. I'm very satisfied with how Siri performs at these tasks.

I use Siri while I ride my bicycle. When I'm travelling at an average of 18mph for 2-3 hours at a time, it's hard to pull over and send a text message. Granted, Siri's voice recognition is garbage, but it's still better than endangering my life by texting while biking or pulling over and letting the lactic acid build up in my muscles. Siri sends messages for me, reads messages for me, and calls people for me. I pretty much only use Siri while I bike.

i use Siri when driving and i want to play a specific song from my music library and don't want to search through 6,000 songs. I just say "play (whatever)" and it plays it with no problem.

I use Siri constantly for reminders, alarms, calling someone.. but that's about it.

Although, it is kind of cool Siri can take you to a product page via the Apple Store app now.

I use Siri for short text messages, setting timers, and making calls. Usually about once a day or so. I'm dyslexic, so it helps not to have to worry about mistyping things.

Apple needs to move Siri in to the phone so that the voice recognition is not reliant on the network.

I use it to demonstrate to others how he (British Siri is a man) only ever says "I'm sorry, rbrian, I can't help you with that right now", and sometimes in the car to call everybody except the person I want to call.

I haven't used it since before iOS 6, so perhaps he's a bit better now, but I've never much liked talking anyway. I text rather than call, and I usually have subtitles on the TV, even though I can hear it perfectly well, I just take in information much better with my eyes than my ears. I took a VAK test and scored very high on Visual (10,3,3), so Siri was never going to be for me.

I do.
Making a call is a breeze.
Texting while driving? No prob... Although I don't like doing it, usually do it when stopped haha.
To search for an email.
To see my notes/reminders
To play a song.
Everything a college guy needs!

Edit. Forgot about using it as a dictionary.

I use it for at least the following already. If there was an implementation in my language I would use it even more.

- Stock prices
- Sending messages
- Fooling around
- Making calls
- Setting alarms
- Setting reminders

One thing I'd really love to do would be to tell Siri to play music in Spotify. Now I can launch Spotify with it, or play music in iTunes. So just converge the two and bueno, great functionality. Obviously I want to do this to have hands/eyes-free control while walking around or driving the car.

Use it most days..to schedule meetings, reminders, play music while washing up...always useful finding out what premier league and NBA games are on too without going through apps or sites first thing in the morning...never use it in public though.

the music feature is useless to me as i'm german and it doesnt understand english titles when its set to german

for example, when i tell it to play the song "dick in a box" i get "T-Net Box" as a result which means literally nothing

rofl "play album take me home" becomes "krieg mir home"

My car has a manual transmission, so trying to drive and use a cell phone is out of the question. Not that I would use one in an automatic, I don't like it when people use a cell phone when driving. However, its extra difficult in my car. So I use Siri when I'm driving. For reading and sending texts mostly. Also for finding directions to places.

I really only use siri to set calendar events. I preferred Google Voice to Siri before I switched to the iPhone 5 from the Galaxy Nexus so I dont really have much motivation to use it.

Every week I use it for work " Schedule work at 12 PM - 9PM Monday" etc . Set default alarm to 2 hours before and works great. Now I have my schedule on my iCal wherever I go.

Also for weather and now of course football games. To find channels and when I am at work occasionally check the scores

I do constantly. It's really convenient when walking in the door with stuff in my hands to just say "call mom". Siri has even learned to automatically call my mom's iPhone (before she would ask which number, now she automatically calls her iPhone). I also use Siri to get info fast and read texts when biking/running.

I use it daily to set my alarm clock and reminders and to message people we I'm driving (naughty I know...but sometimes it has to be done)
Only caveat is the voice recognition sucks (I lived in Australia for 10 years in my developing years - my accent is screwed up
Google's voice recognition picks it up no problems though

Looks like everyone mainly uses it for reminders, weather, alarms...as do I - it is perfect for tasks like that
