I feel the same way. After switching to the SE from the 6, I prefer the size of the SE and will probably hold off on getting a 7 unless they offer one in this size.I used an old 4s today and it's quite interesting: I definitely notice the small screen but I also notice the one handed usability. Im certainly gonna wait for the 7 to come out, but I may actually decide to go to an SE.
With how cheap the iPhone SE is already, you could get one right now and sell it when the iPhone 7 comes out. I can't see the price dropping that much on phone that's still so new, so you probably wouldn't lose that much money by using the iPhone SE for half a year.I used an old 4s today and it's quite interesting: I definitely notice the small screen but I also notice the one handed usability. That's true. I was also told at the Apple Store that trading up from the 6 to the SE would give me more trade-in value towards the 7 if I chose to go that route. With how cheap the iPhone SE is already, you could get one right now and sell it when the iPhone 7 comes out. Im kinda thinking the same thing. I really want to try the SE, may go to the AS sometime and play around with it. Still think ill wait for the 7 to come out though, to make a more informed decision.I went from a iPhone 6 -> SE on launch day. Love it and would not want to go back to a bigger phone. I cannot think of a feature the iPhone 7 could bring that would make me trade off the comfort of this phone one handed.
Yeah, at some point within the past few years I stopped caring about having the latest and greatest. The main thing I look for now is battery life.I went from a iPhone 6 -> SE on launch day. I'm not worried about having the latest and greatest either. I do like my iPhone to have all the latest iOS features, like my iPhone 6 with iOS 9. With iOS 10 I definitely want to upgrade to a newer iPhone so I stay up to date, being the geek and tech lover that I am, but I don't have to have it just cause it's new. I could care less about the 6s when it was announced, I'm just fine with my 6.Yeah, at some point within the past few years I stopped caring about having the latest and greatest. I don't need the fastest phone with the highest resolution display and the best camera. I just want a phone that is fast enough to stay smooth, has a decent display, and a good enough camera but can last me all day.
Yes, I am describing the iPhone SE.
Oh heck no! I don't miss the big screen at all. Oddly enough I found myself reading an e-book on the little bitty screen. I used to do that a lot on my iPhone 4 for some reason.Sounds like a lot of folks are enjoying their SE's after using a 4.7". My question to them is: do you ever find yourself missing the big screen? Or were you never happy with the big screen in the first place? I do enjoy the 4.7" screen, but I also think i may really enjoy the onehandedness and just overall ease of usability of the SE. I was contemplating switching to a Plus with the 7 so I could get the dual camera system, which sounds really cool to me, but honestly i just dont know. I probably should just stick with the 4.7 since it is the "in-between" model.
I agree. Except with the plus I've never tried it. But I value one handed use and I just know that it won't be comfortable for that. So I think I'll just go with the 7 and who knows maybe the SE. But that (rumored) dual camera upgrade on the plus sounds so cool....SE - I love it
6s - I think it's great
6S plus- Hate it and will never go back to that size again
I loved the 4.7 and got it because there wasn't a 4 model, plus I was excited to try something new from Apple. Yeah, it's interesting how many of us feel this way about the perfect size being that of the 5/5S/5C/SE. I'm glad I'm not alone in thinking this, as when the 6/6+/6S/6S+ came out, it was beginning to look like they were abandoning the idea of the smaller 4 inch iPhones, and that would have been a real shame, as I really think they got the 4 inch models perfect. But it's good to keep vocal like this about these little things that mean so much to us, as it was all of us users who piped up about loving this size that got Apple to realize that many of us would make that choice every time, and probably wouldn't even bother upgrading to the latest iPhone each time if it meant we could only have the larger sized ones. Don't get me wrong, I did buy a 6S plus, but in real usage terms, I find that I hardly ever use it except for watching videos in bed, because even though it's still technically carryable to some extent, it still feels alot more burdensome to bring with me whenever I go out, and I don't find the screen of the 4 inch to be at all harder to use. They did such a good job with it that it feels just as smooth and easy to navigate as any of the bigger ones.I feel the same way.
