I had a nice carbon fiber case for my 3gs for awhile but got tired of it. I did shatter the screen on it but insurance had it back to me in 3 days. The case wouldn't have prevented the damage anyways so...

Buck naked all the way!

There is absolutley no need to use a case or screen protectors with this phone.

The screen and back are made of very high quality glass and you will have a very hard time scratching them. Then the rest of the phone is made of stainless ****ing steel.

Naked for life.

You can drop it and shatter the glass.
You can have sand in your pocket and scratch the screen.

With that said, the MOST I'm getting right now is a full body invisible skin (not zagg).

How much would a front or back glass cost to replace? If it's like 10-20 bucks more than the screen protector, I don't really see the point of the protector.

Think I'll go naked. My phone too. :D

I'm not worried about scratches, but I've been saved by a Zagg sheild from an accidental encounter with a sharpie once... so I'll probably just get some glossy protectors.

I was thinking about a bumper, mostly for the color, but I'll wait about a week before I decide.

Not me. I plan on using Apples anti glare screen, along with a silicone case for max protection.

Yuck! I tried the anti-glare once. I was totally bothered by how fuzzy the screen looked. I couldn't imagine putting one on a retina display.

I might, I'm not so worried since there isn't really anything that is scratchable. I bought a Bumper that I was going to try out, if I don't like it, I will go naked. I am much more willing to go caseless with this compared to the 3G and 3GS.

I always have gone case-less with every iPhone I've owned. I take care of my stuff, so no need to cover up its sexy body!

My iPhone has always gone naked ever since Day One of the 2G. Same with my iPhone 3G.

But I must admit, I'm a little bit worried about the oloephobic coating scratching. I never had a 3GS, so don't have any experience there. But I never had any problems with the glass scratching on my 2G or 3G.

I'm not. I had my 2g Iphone with a rubber case and It's kept it looking new after all these years, even after so many falls and tumbles, It still looks good. I plan on getting the bumer for the iphone 4, and maybe considering getting a screen protector for the front and back.

There are no cases available for launch (bumpers are not cases), so the front and back will be "naked" for everyone unless you put it into some case for another model. The Apple store today is still not sure IF they will even have screen protectors.....

I'm going to keep my iPhone 4 naked. I am looking for a holster that has a belt clip that can swivel. I switch my phone from vertical to horizontal depending on whether or not I'm sitting or walking.

Anyone know of a nice holster with a swiveling belt clip that I can slip the 4 into and out of securely and without too much of a hassle?

I was gonna go case-less until I saw this, its not only a slim case but its beautiful as well :) Kinda blows it's 70 dollars for a custom but I think its worth it.

wow. those look pretty dope. can you send them a picture to get engraved in the back of the case? or do you have to choose from what they have? that'd be pretty awesome to get one with the laker logo or something on it. haha

My iPhone 2G went caseless. I prefer going caseless with this one far more. No screen protectors either. I really do like it when I see it in all its glory. Buck naked and buck wild! My recent phone only needed a holster case and it is in pristine condition.

But.... I'll try out the bumper for awhile since I tend to be very OCD and overprotective when I first buy something new. And also a thin holster case because I don't like putting my phone in my pocket. Could easily slip off as I lost a couple phones that way. This phone is much thinner than the RAZR. But after a some time as the iPhone 4 gets older, I'll sport it naked.

I need to keep things with discretion. Easily something that can get jacked if I flaunt it too much.

Mine will be naked. My 3Gs has been naked since the day I got it and it still looks perfect.

I am, always have....always will.......

to those of you worried about dropping it and breaking the screen....you probably should be.

but, those of you (like me) that dropped an iPhone and cracked the screen, you will never do it again. You will always make sure it is 100% in your pocket before you let go.....no matter how intoxicated you are. All it takes is once!

My screen is cracked, more like shattered, at the bottom as well, although it happened when I brought it into the gym (for most of you, here's a linkhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physical_exercise) and while positioning a bench, it got smashed underneath it. But, I've dropped it numerous times before that with no ill affects, and many times after (after I stopped caring about it) and the top half is still fine and the cracks haven't grown. So the point is, unless you saturate it, or place something heavy and pointed on it, it's most likely gonna be fine no matter how you abuse it.

I'm going caseless. Every case I've had has scratched my 3G, left shadows if that makes sense, or my phone gets dirty easily while cased. No case for my iPhone for...yet.

naked ftw! I'm kinda scared for the back being scratched, but I figured since it's glass like the front now, should be ok...

I let a girl i know use my iPhone 3G a few weeks after I got it, and she got a bit of spray paint on the (bare) screen . After some rubbing, it came off though. You can get sharpie off with rubbing alcohol (or even hand sanitizer) really easily.

Any scratches (on the screen)? This is the thing I worry about the most...for some reason, the prospect of dropping it and cracking the screen doesn't really bother me.
