now my infinifolders won't work, and my subbed icons for Netflix and BiteSMS are gone and my infolock are gone

so is my sbs settings.

wtf?

use the link i posted above for the deb and find 3209 and ssh it into your tmp folder or var/mobile/media/downloads as i do...use ifile's installer to overwrite the newest version you have

I assume you're responding to the above poster, correct?

I downgraded to 3209....rebooted, lockinfo and sbsetings are gone! Tried reinstalling, nothing shows up in Settings menu....please help! Activator also gone.

I had the same problem and reinstalled the latest, lockinfo, sb... came back rightaway.

Went with the link at the end of the last page for 3209, installed via /tmp. So far so good as far as apps: sbsettings, lockinfo, activator, wb, infinifolders, 5 icon dock, five col. sb, and otherwise all apps still there after reboot. Still suck at doodle jump.

My battery wasn't as bad as I've seen reported, but I did lose a little over an hour of used time from pre-jb. We'll see how it goes.

3209 didn't work from the evnhvn repo? Should have, I got it from saurik's site (the one linked at the bottom of the first page)

I will be interested to see how this goes downgrading to 3209, I have a 3GS and the battery would decrease by about 1% every 2 hours in standby, would get about 4.5 hours use out of it, i know playing games drains more battery power but I would expect more than 4.5 hours non stand by time use.

yeah thats where i got it from, then i used iphonebrowser and ifile to install it.
Thanks!

Same here and hope 3209 will fix the problem.

Ok did a reboot and it all came back...whooo close one. So everything should work fine with 3209?
Good to hear that. Just follow these steps and you will be able to get 3209 in and I confirm all my sbsettings, lockinfo, activator, wb, 5 icon dock, five col. & sb are here.

It is 70% now. Every night after JB, I will wake up 10 to 25% less. Hope it will be different tomorrow morning. Thanks OP!!!

sorry to be a pain in the arse but will ultrasnow run with version 3209, its just i'm going overseas in two days as was gonna purchase a sim where I am going so it would be a bummer if i got there and ultrasnow didn't work

so you just ssh the file in there? the only file in there is manifest.plist

where can I find the old mobilesubstrate file so I can take care of that? I mean the original one that is already on the iPod Touch

If you use the installer on iFile once you upload the file, it will overwrite the current one.

Just went down to 3209 from 3328. I didn't notice much of my battery being drained when idle. After waking up in the morning, it was either the same, or drained by 1% or 2%. It does drain easily though when I am actively using the phone (wifi browsing, ssh, cydia, some light gaming).

I installed 3209 via ifile and none of my settings were changed, and no themes or apps were deleted.

Also to save battery, don't forget to lower your brightness, shut off 3g/wifi/etc when not in use.

Okay, I reverted back to 3209. Nothing broken that I've noticed. I'll keep an eye on the battery usage to see if it has improved. Thanks OP.

To the people thAt are saying things are broken.... Reinstall the apps and do a restart it's not hard. The huge battery increase is worth the hassle of reinstalling apps and restarting the phone. Most people who do it are seeing huge improvements, those that are not or are seeing broken apps are doing it wrong, 3325 and 3326 had tons of problems with skype and maps, but 3209 does not.... Reinstall the apps after downgrading and restart twice, I have been using skype, maps, and two dozen other jailbroken Apps on 3209 without a problem, while having my pre-JB battery life back.

I downgraded to 3209 several days ago and it made no difference in my reduced battery life. So I uninstalled all my Cydia apps (Winterboard, SBSettings, Signal, My3G, MyWi and any others that could affect the battery). I still had battery issues, so I reinstalled 3228 and my battery life was back to normal. I've reinstalled everything, except Signal, and my battery life I'd normal or better (6 hours 3G and 10-11 hours wifi Internet). I haven't reinstalled Signal since there are reports this messes up mobile substrate by adding ttydebug (I forget the exact name).

Am I being stupid here or shouldn't someone just tell saurik this so he can fix the battery drain issue AND we can have the latest mobilesubstrate without having to downgrade and run "old" files?
