I don't think we'll be waiting until October. They should be in stores within a week of launch max.

It's quite an annoying day of the week to release a new product. If I order tomorrow, it's unlikely to arrive Saturday, which means I won't get it 'til Monday at the earliest.
Tuesday release would've been much nicer.

You actually think they won't be available to buy tomorrow?

Sorry, where on earth did you get October from?
MacBooks will not be in stores 4th of October or 4/10

Ok, I'm confused. 4/10? Why is October coming into this thread? Or is that when they think v2 will be released?
I think they will be. I was responding to the OP saying staff at the store said it won't be available until October.
Not sure. It's in the thread title so maybe a typo.

Edit - don't worry, I realise now it's an Americanism.
Ah. Depends where is OP is from.
Americans for some unknown reason put the month first!
Most of the rest of the planet goes with DD/MM/YYYY.

Very true, but this is an American-based forum discussing products of an American company.![]()
Well yes, and we still use inches and pounds too.
Preaching to the converted there - Imperial is a British Empire measurement.
Then again 95.4% of the worlds population don't live in America...

And I hate you guys every day for it. 3 years in the US and I still can't make any sense of it.
The only advantage I see is that Americans are very good at fractions and mental calculus![]()
Accurate but irrelevant. If you come to the US, expect to measure distance in miles, have dates given in month-day-year format, and count your change in dollars rather than Euros.
Ahhh, but you're giving up your age or at least your field of employment.![]()

Nobody in the (ex) British Empire uses Euros
How so ?
