I used to have that issue AirPods Pro and sometimes on my HomePod mini stereo setup. But it hasn’t happened since.Interesting. I though that setting only applied to listening with airpods.

Yes! I still get some interruptions on my APP despite being less than 15ft from ATV but the out of sync issues no longer happen.Since you disabled headtracking on the apple tv, correct?
I'm very glad I'm not experiencing this, it would drive my crazy. I have the original 4K Apple TV hooked up to a Denon X1600H receiver, in a 5.1.2 Atmos setup.
Is it specific content, or a general issue?
You don’t need to disable Dolby Atmos altogether. Just disabling Head Tracking in Accessibility settings would resolve the issue.
When you see the Dolby logo mid-stream that means they streaming lost signal momentarily and restarted. Usually because your bandwidth fell below the minimum for Dolby Atmos or Vision. I’d consider this a streaming issue related to your ISP or home configuration.Netflix is the most common culprit for me. I have a Denon S730. Scenario is that the sound cuts out for a few seconds, and on screen you see the Dolby Logo in upper right hand corner (LG OLED) that shows a codec change.
Are you using ARC ?
Oh then this doesn’t apply to your scenario. The article just mentions the out of sync audio issues so I assumed it was wireless. That solution worked for me so figured it might help others in my situation.Wait What ? On what device? Based on this thread those of us having this issue are hard wired via HDMI from the Apple TV to a Stereo Receiver (Various Brands) or a Sound Bar.
Ya Im hardwired as well. Have tried on 2 different Atmos bars Sonos and a cheap Asian market one I had. Same issue. No problems if I turn off Atmos on the ATV.Hardwired Apple TV here.
No, no ARC (or eARC) here. I have all my devices hooked up to my receiver, outputting to my Samsung Q9F's One Connect box. My receiver (and its app) shows that Atmos is in use.Netflix is the most common culprit for me. I have a Denon S730. I have no interference, only a few devices, and ethernet. This issue is NOT related to anything you have suggested.sounds exactly like wifi issues, low signal, too many devices, interference. Not experiencing it here at all
For AirPods you can try disabling Head Tracking in the Accessibility settings of ATV. That should resolve the sync issues.Dolby Atmos hasn’t worked right since it’s introduction on Apple TV. Especially with AirPods. Constant sync issues.
Very similar experience for me. Stream gets really quiet, prompting you to increase the sound setting. Then an action scene starts and suddenly sound is working at full level!I can confirm that my newest gen Apple TV 4K has this issue: both of them. Most commonly, it happens with Netflix. Watching something... sounds great... then boom... no audio at all. Maybe it'll come back in 5 seconds, maybe not. I thought it was something with my system, but it happens in the other room as well. Disabling atmos on both Apple TV devices completely solved the issue. Hopefully it's fixed soon!
My (Samsung) Atmos soundbar works perfectly when used directly with the (Samsung) TV. It's only when we try to use the Apple TV (4k) when problems occur. Our solution for now, sadly, is to mostly bypass the Apple TV entirely.Atmos soundbars have many issues too. The tech just isn’t worth jumping into quite yet.
