Some Apple Watch Pre-Orders With 4-6 Weeks or June Delivery Estimates Already 'Preparing for Shipment'

it's also based on model. i doubt anyone with your same exact model who ordered after you is getting theirs before you.

This is happening. Just read the comments on these multiple shipping threads. There have been several cases where people who ordered the same model, several minutes later, are getting theirs shipped first.
 
So based on all the blurb I read here it doesn't appear Apple is really doing first come first served unless people are being very inaccurate about the information they are providing. I placed my order a few minutes after midnight as soon as the order page came up, I tried both computer and the Store App and eventually was able to place the order using the Store App on the phone . As of right now nothing has changed for me.

May - 13 - May - 27

No UPS activity, credit card charge or status update. I guess there is still the rest of the day today and all day tomorrow for something to happen but I'm sort of doubtful at this point.

That's what I keep reading here also. So obviously it is really not first come first served. Maybe those who ordered on the web site versus the Store App get it first who knows. So many orders coming in at the same time how the heck can they tell who was first anyway, it sounds messy.

How has it literally just happened ? .... its not Friday yet .... nobody has had a delivery .... why not wait and see what happens ..... you have no idea what will happen .....

Well for sheeets n giggles I just placed a new order for a 42MM SS Black Band which currently shows June shipping. If something miraculous happens with this order I will keep this one and cancel my order for the 42MM Sports Gray/Black band which still shows 5/13 - 5/27 processing. Maybe this will throw off the systems :p

You have absolutely no proof of that happening. And just becasue people are being charged it does not mean its shipping. I've been charged, but my delivery date is still 4-6 weeks out. Until shipments are made, no one knows who is getting what. You're getting all worked up over a credit card charge.

And yes, I do think it was her ultimate decision, and it was a HORRIBLE one. This could be the most successful product, with the absolute worst roll-out. This is coming from a stock holder, not just someone that wants a watch.

I'm also a stock holder, around the same time Forrest Gump bought his shares, and this is a PR, customer satisfaction DISASTER . I understand they want to release the damn thing but this is ridiculous

So am I, and I don't share the view of you and the previous poster.

Maybe the two of you should wait until Monday after the market closes before you start pontificating on how successful this rollout is or isn't. Or can't you wait for five days to get actual facts?
 
anyone have an news on the stainless steel with black sports band mine still hasn't been changed to preparing to ship or my card hasn't been charged and i order it at 3:03 in the morning on preorder day and i have a ship day of 4/24-5/8
 
Has anyone in Colorado seen any movement? I ordered at 1:01 and still haven't seen anything. Still in processing stage

I ordered 2 watches. My Sport with Green band has been preparing for shipment since Monday afternoon and monies taken out of my bank account. My SS BSB still sits in Processing Items :confused:

So I'm in Florida and i also ordered a Apple Watch Sport Space Gray (42mm) 3 minutes after pre-orders started. I got a 4/24-5/8 "Processing items". Two days until (i hope) i get a knock on my door by UPS. I still haven't gotten a "Preparing for Shipment". From what ive read is that there is a Apple distribution center in Florida so I'm kind of thinking that Maybe they are holding orders until the 23rd to confirm orders. i havent personally seen any order confirmations in Florida yet. If you have please sound off (in reply). The same could be in orther locations so if you have been confirmed please let us know your locations :)
 
Just want to confirm... When they charged your money and said preparing for shipment, how long normally one should wait until it's delivered? Does money charged means the item already on warehouse?
 
I'm in FL and ordered 2. The 38 is arriving on Fri, the 42 is still processing.
