13 Mini here. I feel like it’s browsing sites on wifi - as if domain name services cannot resolve to an IP and then connect and load a site. I turn wifi off and it loads through cellular.

While it sounds like wifi is the culprit and not 16.2, I don’t remember experiencing this issue with 15.7.X.

not a SINGLE of the bugs I have reported since iOS 16b1 have been fixed. Same goes for MacOS bugs.
This is why I don't report bugs anymore.

I've taken my time to report like 15 bugs a few years ago and some of them still haven't been fixed.

BTW, the keyboard that goes in landscape while the app is in portrait : I've had this since AT LEAST 2018. On my iPhone 6s, Xr, 12 and now 14 Pro. It's making me crazy why Apple won't fix this.

I had to go to 3 different Apple stores across the country from West Coast to New York and back to finally get my iPhone 11 pro max 512 GB completely replaced after updating to iOS 16. I had constant battery draining even after two battery replacements at the Apple Store. When I went to the battery health settings it went down 10% after every battery replacement in less than a week, sometimes only days or hours!

Lots of overheating, and sluggish performance, sometimes the flashlight wouldn't work and the brightness dimmed. There were 2 random boot loop events for hours, one of the events happened during my New York trip leaving me stranded, ruining the entire day I had planned! It took a lot of convincing for Apple to finally replace my phone completely. Only after torturing me with numerous Apple 'Genius' visits, putting me through the wringer of condescending junior techs, trying to lecture me on what I was doing wrong, and endless diagnostics that came up with 'nothing wrong' over and over again.

I kept using the 'controversial' term: 'planned obsolescence' over and over again. Thankfully I finally got my replacement iPhone after two attempts, one at Grand Central Station Apple Store. They had one left, and they were going to do the replacement for free but 'the system' wanted to REPO my phone instead (send my iPhone in for more endless, redundant, never-ending, useless diagnostics) they couldn't override it even with the manager override codes. So I went back home after completing my New Year's New York Trip.

After reading the notes on my case and talking to me over the phone, the Manager at the Apple Store from my hometown agreed to do me a solid and 'pull strings' to get me a replacement at 0 costs to me. It was out of warranty, even for apple care, being over 3 years old. Thank you **** and **** for your wonderful service!

My new iPhone 11 Pro Max 512 GB is now sitting happily and healthily on iOS 15.5. I installed TVOS OTA Blocker as I wait for Apple to fix their OS or maybe I'll never update or purchase an iPhone again.

I notice a bit of lag when pulling up the camera sometimes, but other than that, I haven't noticed many bugs with iOS 16. Not any that have bothered me for more than a few seconds before forgetting what they were in the first place...

Maybe some people are on their phones too much?

I'm definitely not updating my iPhone 10S but what about the iPad Air 5? I was excited for the new features, but I'm worried about apps crashing.. specifically my Words with Friends and Super Mario Run. Downloaded but not installed... should I just wait?

I can't stop thinking of 3 Amigos when I see the word: Plethora.

I have iPhone 13 Pro Max that freezes almost biweekly at this point. It just freezes out of nowhere, apps start to become unresponsive, and eventually not even the power button works. At that point I just force restart.
Imagine when physical button is removed and haptic button also freezes. There would be no practical way to restart a frozen device without visiting Apple Store. It’s going to be a nightmare.

Apple is very capable of ignoring bug reports as well. Even Craig Federighi said as much: https://www.macrumors.com/2022/11/15/craig-federighi-on-apple-beta-program/
One of their leads in the testing program also complained last year about people reporting bugs as well because they weren't high enough quality. I can't believe that someone who works for a huge company with billions of profits every quarter really has a leg to stand on when complaining about a free program from consumers who are buying your products. If there was a bounty program I could see the issue...but it seems like they can just hire a few people to sort through the bugs and easily give people status reports to make the program better. Nope, its our fault for not reporting them the way they want to.

I often try to keep my report as detailed as possible, but not everyone Would do the same. Instead of trying to create some sort of novice mode where stuff is recorded automatically, they rely on user knowing What a feedback should be, essentially wishing every iOS user be a professional software tester. Like what the hell?

Not surprised. This isn't just an apple thing but an industry wide problem, software quality sucks. There is no denying it anymore. It could be a $35,000 switch, firewall, router, or access points, or cars, or phones or TVs or game consoles, they are all riddled with bugs and we just have to accept it.

The problem stems from adding features for marketing instead of just fixing things. Awesome the new camera or screen is X-times better, but I can't tell the difference at all, I am sure the majority of people can't. Why not make the battery 20% better and the software 20% more stable.

I have the 11 Pro Max and it's been quite a bit better since 16.2 but I still have occasional glitches. Most notable is the camera app freezing on launch from the lock screen. Most often happens when my battery is charged to 100% which is odd. I'm surprised it's similar or worse on the newer iPhone models. Battery health on mine is 86%. Thought it was just my battery aging. But I will say 16.0 was the worst, 16.1 was noticeably better and 16.2 also noticeably better for my device.

No issues here on a 13 pro max🤷🏻‍♂️ the home update made 2 of my thread lights revert back to Bluetooth but I factory reset them and everything has worked fine since

Thats my issue. They don't invest in the front end, release a product with issues (which to be fair, everyone does,) assume we will do free work for them, and then complain. It can't be both ways, and its especially annoying because they could easily afford to compensate testers to then make their complaints somewhat valid. Nothing huge, but a $1-$5 apple GC for every bug deemed worthwhile to investigate would be enough to appease the masses and also give a feedback loop for issues.

Except for AOD turning off I don’t have any issues.
Wish battery life was a little bit better though.
