Kinda reminded me of the "TV-Off" effect the Nexus line used to have but now designed by the Apple in California

There use to be saying because Apple makes the entire widget, stuff like this can't happen. But the reality is, when you have a complex codebase like iOS and the multitude of OS projects within the company, stuff like this is bound to happen. On top of the fact that you have a dispersed development environment all over the planet. When we use to read about Microsoft Windows and BSOD's, Microsoft wasn't doing anything wrong, they were just the first to this kind of complexity due to how widely deployed Windows was on the multitude of configurations.

For Apple, don't expect to never see stuff like this, its a new reality.

Maybe Apple is just trying to copy the plaid lines on Tesla's Plaid models. Your phone is now booting up extra fast. :apple:

These guys are booting up their phones? Don't remember the last time I turned mine off. :p
I usually turn my phone off before stepping on a plane. First I put it in airplane mode, then I turn it off. One time on a long layover, I almost missed my flight because, the phone stayed in airplane mode and the clock did not reset to the new timezone.
And always a race to the bottom with juvenile remarks.
What's wrong with juvenile remarks? Some of my best comments were juvenile and pointless.

The left one looks like software, yeah. The right one is probably also software, but only because I haven't heard of Apple switching the orientation of their screens. If it were vertical I'd guess hardware.

Either way, if I had either of these and was within my return period I would send it back for refund.

Does “turning on” mean booting up? I reboot maybe once or twice a year — how is this even an issue?
I technically agree because I hardly ever have to reboot my phone.

But if I did and I saw those lines I’d probably poop myself just a little bit, considering it looks like “s**t’s broken, dude” and our phones contain an awful lot of important data these days.

I’d be concerned if I saw this on my phone too.

Just yesterday my 12 Pro Max locked up and hot pink squares appeared all over my screen and then rebooted. I was just in the settings app when this happened. Hopefully it is not a sign of a hardware fault.

"best comments were juvenile and pointless"? Finally an admission. Thanks.

Because people with intelligence and a desire to gather useful information come here. If they wanted cheap and bad humor they would go to a street corner. There is NO desire to read the c**p that now makes up the majority of any discussion here. You're chasing more and more of the good participants away.
