Calm down. I am waiting 7-8 weeks for my 15PM.Very pleased to announce that due to massive “rumour” it will not sell well this year, my order is backlogged to 3 weeks despite being early in line

Apparently I read that if you ordered in the first hour with one or combo of the following options, the order process wouldn’t be as fast as without and you would get more errors in the process.

I alllllllllmost did it. I made an order with AT&T 3 times, cancelled three times. I just couldn’t do it. My iPhone 14 Pro 1TB is fantastic… But congrats to everyone who will be getting exactly what they want. I’ll be getting a new one next year😎
It does stand to reason that eventually some of these phones would ship.

I just checked and one of mine is now preparing to ship... I expect it to remain this way until next week around this time so it successful makes its original planned arrival date on or later than Sept 25th

They’re a trillion dollar company that error shouldn’t happen.Could have been much worse. Apple has a LOT of stores around the planet. Instead of close by, what if it was farthest possible point?
I was excited because I got an early shipment...iPhone 16...telephoto lens too! But it turned out it was just one of those mini-cereal boxes with a telescope taped it. Darned UPS!
I ordered on Apple's Veteran And Military Store and was surprised how quick and easy it was. The store opened at 7:06 AM, CT, and my order for two blue 512GB pro maxes was confirmed at 7:13 (yes, I was a little slow as I wanted to make sure I had everything right. It also took a little longer because Apple wouldn't let me order two carrier phones on one order. I had to go back and select to connect to a carrier later for one of the phones (driving to the AT&T Store to activate one of the phones is a minor inconvenience). After that, I was surprised to still get a Sep 22 delivery date. I also saw a couple hours ago that both of my phones are preparing to ship. That's a good sign that they really will be here next Friday. Good luck, everyone.
The confirmation email for my order says, "Thank you for your order." So, I guess once your "Pre-order" is submitted, it becomes an order.
I was lucky, my cat woke me up at about 4:50 this morning. I groggily remembered what day it was, and had my iPad on my reading shelf next to the bed. After 5 it took a reload or two to get the page up, but got the order in at 5:34, according to the email I got from Apple. The order status on the store page changed to Preparing to Ship a couple hours ago. So set to receive it on the 22nd. My pal, who doesn't have a cat, got his order in later, and isn't due to receive his until mid-October. 15 Plus Max, Titanium Blue.

Maybe 1 or 2 more trillion on the ledger and stuff like that can finally be addressed?
