Some M1 iPad Pro Orders Start Switching to 'Shipped' Status With May 21 Delivery

Happy First Round Delivery Day!!! Good luck to everyone with the May 21-27 (which the app still shows for me). Website updated late last night

UPS status shows it landed in my area at 4:52 am, so all appears to be good.

Mine is out for delivery too!! Serious question though. I needed a new iPad, mine is the original 9.7“ pro, and I didn’t just order for the new display or anything. I’m thinking I should use all of my new available power and display to do something useful, like learn to code. I’m in IT, but on the business side of things. Anyone else have any useful new things they plan to do with the new powerhouse being delivered?

The vast majority plan to watch Netflix, check Facebook is my guess.

For your uses try grabbing Pythonista. It’s a full-blown IDE with execution capability. Combine that with an inexpensive class on Udemy.com (apps for iPad also available) and you’re golden.
 
So, I was coming from an iPad 3. You know, the only one with a 6 month shelf life?
When I heard the price increase rumors, I bought the 2020 11” Pro. Had the Apple Store price match. When the 11” price stayed the same, I returned it and waited. So I had a backup ready to go.
I was so excited I restored the damn thing three times in a row and kept wondering why it wasn’t set up. Oops. Restore from BACKUP.

HAHAHA.

The stuff I tried out, including Xbox cloud gaming, are all running well.
 
Don‘t get me wrong. I’m not complaining at all, but this is going to take some getting used to. The extreme reduction in bezel size paired with the increased overall size is crazy! Also keep thinking I need a fingerprint sensor to unlock.

I was really hoping after the first 2 days of deliveries the ETA for my iPP ordered the first day at night would move to a sooner date. Still keeping my fingers crossed….
 
What did I do wrong? Delivery was already put back a week but still no sign. 11" 128GB WiFi with engraving. I received the (completely useless on its own) Apple Pencil weeks ago, just to rub salt in!

I’m in the exact same point and placed the order not even a day later than when it ”opened”. Same with the Apple pencils. Interesting enough, my order number is lower than yours but still, no movement in processing it and my ETA is weeks later.
You can still get it by June 2nd if they ship it these days.
