I've noticed the refurbished part of the store is now gone and you have to search manually for any refurb products

i was more thinking of a 24" dual quad-core with 8GB RAM and 1 TB of hdd MBP, but tell if i'm wrong :p

Oh well. As much as i'm relieved that I don't have to switch in my 8GB iPhone for a 16GB one, i'm a little disappointed...

Isn't that because the core solo has 64bit and the Core duo just had 32 bit?

It's still there. Look at the bottom right of the page.

Yah but I certainly didn't see it immediately. Noticed the usual refurbs section was missing when I checked out the Store earlier. First reaction   oh noooooooh

Punched "refurb" into search, calmed down when a 2G nano popped up. Finally saw refurbs jammed into that corner of the store Home. Whew!! For a minute there I thought Apple was saying hey refurb is so over. Then I came to my senses. Why would they not keep refurbs going, they're a gateway drug ;) towards fullblown Apple addiction.

I like the fairly subtle visual redesign. Probably some big server rearrangements behind the scenes. Gettin' ready for that massive holiday crush!!! :) :)

anyone else notice, in the Canada store, instead of "Ships by: September 28" for the iPod touch, it now says "Ships: 7-10 business days" !!!!

iPod touches are 'officially' shipping!

Just some things I noticed:

1. There's a price mistake for the touch on the iPod page. It says starting at $399.

2. The Macbook Pro image looks distorted. The screen doesn't seem to be a widescreen. Reminds me of the 12" PB.

European stores have been down for a few hours too. Now they seem back but refurbished products lists are empty  (I've checked Spain, UK, France and Germany).

I had to interrupt an order yesterday for an emergency. When I got back home, I tried to resume my order but the store was down. Now that it's back, it's empty (my shopping cart too)!!! I can't believe my opportunity is gone. Anybody has seen this before? Makes it sense that every refurbished item in Europe has just evaporated? (I assume not -cross my fingers- but who knows what these marketing guys can do?) Makes it sense that they restored the stores but not the stocks of refurbished items just yet?

I'm really anxious now.

EDIT: Everything's back to normal now. I ordered my refurbished iMac!
