Here is a screen with the anti glare protector that was included. I missed the camera hole line up just a tad and trapped a piece of lint on one part. I tried taking the best pictures I could. It looks pretty clear. Some of the blur in the pictures could just be to noise from the dlsr sony alpha 100 I was using. I have not perfected that camera yet.

Looks like the retina display goes right through the anti-glare screen protector

Thanks for the review.
Just ordered a black one.
Going to use my steinheil ultra crystal screen protector with this.

Ill post pics once I receive it.

I actually have the ultra crystal screen protector on my iphone 4 with this case. Actually I'm upset with the screen protector. Its feel is nice and it is very clear but the adhesive properties are not even on par with the free protectors that came with this case. It will work however until my powersupports ship. I used anti glare sgp's in the past and loved them. I leave that conversation to the 8 page sgp thread that is around here.

jefftroll, what exactly are you referring to when you say the adhesive properties. Im guessing you are speaking about the area around the button.
I couldnt get mine to stick there no matter what I tried. And it was centered perfectly.

let me know.

Yes, there , the ear piece and now up on the top right its coming loose from screen. Frustrated with that screen protector for the money.

Mine did the same thing as well. Are the protectors that came with the sonix better. If so I will just return the steinheil product. The later on I'll get the powersupport.

Does the inside of the case have a velvet material so that the case does not scratch the back. Many of these cases scratch the back of the phone when dust and other particles get inside.

Based on what I can see in the video it doesn't look like there is any felt on the inside of the case.

The protectors that come with this case are not better than sgp in feel, just adhesive properties. They do seem clear though.

There is no felt inside the case but the feathers do not have that either. If you have ever lenses a feather, this case is just like that except for more coverage up the sides and what I guess I would call bevel.

Thanks for update. I'd rather have a screen protector that adheres correctly versus better feel. Regardless , down the road I will get the powersupport protector.

I might have to return my feather for this.

the incipio feather's rear camera hole is alot bigger than this, however this one has the advantage of the raised border around the screen.

i think i still like the feather more

Does this case cure the reception issues like other cases?

I'm pretty sure it does. Not 100%, but I think as long as there is no skin to antenna contact (as long as the separation is non-conductive) then there would be no issues with that.

IMO, screen protection is more important. You can always file out a little bit of the camera hole to give the lens/flash more room ;)

I have the feather case on mine and it appears to have solved my reception issue. My phone stays at 5 bars 95% of the time now and will drop to 3 - 4 bars the other 5%. Before the case, I could easily get it down to 0 bars no problem while holding it. I'd assume it be similar with this case. (I've never had a dropped call though, even at 0 bars).

jefftroll,

I had the same results as you with the steinheil ultra crystal. I also picked up this case today to test, works pretty well.

Ive installed these things a million times. and even after going through both the included protectors that came in the package, I could not get the area around the home button to stick, nor the area around the earphone.

I did everything that is recommended when installing these things. Used Iclear on the screen, compressed air, and did it in a steamy bathroom to lessen the risk of getting dust under the protector.

Both the ear phone and home button have issues. For now I am going to keep it, it was only $11.99, and then when the power support protectors come out, I will order that one.

See pictures below. PS it did this before I put the Belkin Grip Vue case on. No matter what I tried it wouldnt adhere correctly. I even tried taking it off and reapplying but still no luck.

It almost looks like when they made the cut outs for the home button and ear phone, they distorted the plastic, and thats why it wont adhere.

Shipping info?

I ordered one of these last week (Thursday). I've not received any shipping info. Has anyone else? Based on the review, it sounded like the shipping time was farily fast- but that's prob dependent on where it's going to.

Are these coming from California?

I placed my order at My Gear Store Thursday night. Got an order confirmation email from them. Site currently shows 'Out of Stock'. Emailed Monday for ETA and have not gotten any response. PayPal charge is still pending.

Well I called today, same result every time you call, they put you on hold for like 10 minutes, then you get dropped into a general mailbox.

Since I ordered on saturday and still have not heard anything yet on status, I decided to cancel my order.

Just emailed them requesting they cancel my order. I see my account was also charged, but its in pending status like trozau.

Just ordered the Switcheasy Nude instead!

Just called back and got through to a rep.
Press 4 at the menu to get through to someone.

The orders are on back order. No notification was ever sent, how wonderful.
Anyways, I cancelled my order.

Just so you guys know.

i really like how it looks, very elegant and slim..

the only thing that has me concerned is that if i drop my phone (which i do A LOT)is that the "snap-on" case will snap-off if it falls face down.. :(

even thou i HATE those tight silicone cases that might be the only option i have when it comes to protection.. .. ugh... i hate those but is better than getting my phone cracked..

Get a switcheasy case when they come out. They will offer a lot of protection if you drop your phone a lot and are not ugly as sin like those otterbox cases.

The Otterbox and the SwitchEasy have about as much in common as an apple and an orange. Different cases for different purposes.

I, too, ordered a switcheasy nude in black but did not cancel the sonix snap. Got email from both of them today with tracking numbers. I probably still prefer the sonix because it goes higher on the side to prevent screen contact if laid screen down. Will let my kid use the switcheasy nude (if he wants it). The other case we are both interested in is the Tech21 iBand with D30 (due out the end of July). :)

Will the snap fit on if there is a screen protector on the back of the phone?

Got my Sonix Snap in the mail, today. Nice!. :)

Will the snap fit on if there is a screen protector on the back of the phone?
I think it will. I still have the protective plastic on the back of my IP4 and it fits in the Sonix Snap with it on. :)

I just got my case today. Its a pretty nice cooling case. like someone said it help 95% of the antenna issue. I am happy with the case. i would give it a 4/5
