WOW! I barely remember that! That's for the PowerMacs, right? TBH, it's really incredible thinking back to Macs back in the 90s compared to now, how far we've come.Is this the old Sonnet company where we purchased ppc 603e upgrades?

That's a great question - wow good catch!would this gracefully be able to eject or require manual ejection every time you want to unplug from the dock?
Don't all Macs require manual eject of all external drives before physically unplugging? I've not known otherwise. The only "exception" might be iPhones and iPads? That's a great question - wow good catch!
why only 800 MB/s?
as I said, for TB4/NVMe I expect better ... do some research please, those can go up to 3000MBs
I imagine that graphic design was the last thing they had to work on. Like the day before the design is due.Absolutely bizarre graphic design choice in terms of labelling the ports 😜.
Still no 10GbE
macOS ALWAYS requires you to eject any mounted drives before unplugging. This is a macOS issue, not an issue with this or any other dock you might use.would this gracefully be able to eject or require manual ejection every time you want to unplug from the dock?
Can you share which drive(s) & which enclosure?ya lost me at 800mbps who would pay for that? my current external NVME gets 3000+ mb/s. like why even be thunderbolt 4 and cap it there...

Some folks might complain about buying an app that disconnects all of your external drives, but for me, this app has been very helpful over time:
I tend to have 4-6 external drives connected at times, and just clicking once to remove them all is great. YMMV

Good for wired powered desktop speakers. Apple hardware no longer does optical out which pushes most back to using analog.Curious, what are people using the line out audio plugs for? An old school receiver? You'd think just about everyone would be rocking at least an optical port by now.

I have a pair of JBL 306P Mk. II speakers flanking my desk. Right now, I have a little box that converts the 3.5mm output on my dock to XLR, but with those ports, I could plug 'em in direct.Oh wow, I had no idea. Thanks!
