The return of WallStreet. And it still eats Intel for lunch.

So pretty, but silver all the way and every time for me.

That Black MBP is going to be covered in all kinds of oils and look like **** in no time.

The ports from plugging in will wear and show underlying silver over time.

Anti-fingerprint coating 😂😂 Although those that like antiquing might be stoked on the black color way.

I feel like the seal will work, but it will also eventually rub off at which point it's not working. It's like the so-called oleophoic coating on the iPhone glass surface. Sure, it works very well, but then eventually it wears away and no looking looks good. Meh.

the generation of the black (matte), jet black (glossy), and rose gold was a great time for colors.

lovers of black had actual black color options for an apple device. rose gold was a very elegant unique color they never repeated.

space black just being a darker grey is unfortunate, and an insult to space.

I prefer a charcoal gray appearance anyway. Just like my new car. I'm very happy with this color.

Unfortunately I tried to buy one of these yesterday and Apple wouldn't let me. They said I couldn't use the gift card from doing a trade-in and finance the remainder for 12 months. What a crock of crap. My Intel Mac greeted me this morning with a kernel panic five minutes into working, as if to say "F you for trying to get rid of me!"

I could buy it outright but I'm trying to quickly pay down my new car doing triple payments because interest rates are so high and new cars are so expensive and I don't want to touch my savings because my wife's smaller commuter vehicle is getting old and leaking oil and I want to be able to replace that outright, not to mention our house is starting to age and a new A/C unit is about $20K nowadays. Our mortgage was also refinanced a few years ago to be a lot shorter and I keep making extra payments towards that. Trying to be somewhat cautious and pay down debt while inflation is still high.

So I can probably wait a year for everything to be paid off and completely trick it out and keep it for 7-8 years unless I can figure out an alternative. Anyone want to buy a barely used 2019 tricked out MBP? Specs in sig. I've barely used it compared to my iMac which is my workhorse. This new computer will replace both and I'm keeping the iMac as a family computer in the living area for my kids to use.

I've always disliked the dark keyboard bay on the newer MacBook Pros because of the contrast with the rest of the aluminum. With these models, it all bends together much nicer. A real design win IMO
