Space Black SS/band combinations?

I agree. A lot of folks like a darker band with SBSS, and I do too (especially the Link), but the brighter colors really do "pop". The watch faces can look pretty great too with a more colorful band.

I'm planning to get both white and Project Red Sport Bands.
 
I think the SBSS can go with any color. I matched my new SBSS series 4 with the link bracelet of my first  watch series 0 (early 2015). I like the fresh look and the link bracelet aged very well.

I agree with you. That is a very nice combo.

I think you can get away with the brushed aluminum lugs because it’s a seamless flow from the band. Also, the lugs aren’t a bright chrome. I’m not as big a fan of something like a brown leather band with bright chrome lugs. No one but me would ever notice but it still bothers me.
