Anyone else think the removing of the links are a little tricky? Fingers way to big to press the release buttons, definitely suggest some sort of tool to be able to do this

Mine arrived at work, I had to sign for it - so lucky I wasn't at lunch.

Ripped it open, put it on, took it off, removed 2 links, put it back on, synced, updated then went for lunch :)

Only took phone out on train to play Candy Crush. Brilliant.

The things I'd do right now for my shipping status to change.. ordered at xx:09 and I'm still sat on "Available to ship: June" - I really do wish Apple would prioritise the timed orders a little better at least. There's people now receiving shipping updates; of-which ordered at xx:19 and so on

Does not look like I will get mine today though as it is PFS still.:(

Do they deliver on Saturdays as I have something organised and will stay in if so.

Don't think Apple pays for Saturday deliveries. Looks like it will be a Tuesday delivery if it goes to Dispatched today.

Do we know for sure that there have been no Saturday deliveries?

We actually had this discussion on one of the other threads the other day. It turns out that Next Day Air (but not Next Day Air Saver) is actually entitled to Saturday delivery, if the original delivery is scheduled for a Friday and it can't be completed (either you're not available, or they're not).

So, it really depends on which UPS service Apple paid for (as they use both) and if you're in a metro area that it would be offered (pretty sure London would be) - if all of you are out in the sticks, don't think you have a chance.

But, those that are, check which one they're using and see if you can't get Saturday delivery, if they're using Next Day Air. (I'd call if it looked like they're in country and are going to opt for a Monday delivery, for example).

Oh, and in the US and Canadian stores, it still shows a generic "July" if you were to order the 42mm SB SS.

Yes, but as it states above this is for UK orders, and mine is going out with a company called UK Mail

UK Mail should be a sub contractor for UPS, no? Check which service UPS says that Apple paid for. If you're in one of the Metro areas that they support Saturday deliveries and they picked Next Day Air for the service, then their sub-contractor is obligated to provide the same level of support that UPS would.

If they don't then you can raise hell with UPS. :)

I had UKMail deliver my iPhone 5. The guy was knocking at the door bang on 8am Saturday morning.. he said his van was stacked top to bottom, front to back with iPhone deliveries.

So I've already dropped and damaged my SS Space Black Link watch!!! Absolutely gutted! Also so damn happy I paid for AppleCare+!!

However I am in Italy so they can't do anything about it now. What happened was I was finished my excercise. As I was standing there I took off my watch with sport band fitted and it slipped out of my hand and landed on a solid floor!

I looked all over it with the light on my phone and not a scratch. Everything looked perfect and thought to myself "thank god". Then went to fit my Link Bracelet and noticed it wouldn't go in!! Slid it in from the other side and it went right through then stopped! Had a better look and my heart sank.

Basically, right in the VERY edge of where the strap goes in the SS is dented a little and you can't even see it unless a light is on it at the right angle. However because the link bracelet is such a perfect fit it is enough to stop it fitting into the slot. My sport band still slides in as it's not as tight a fit and the rubber can bend a little.

Called AppleCare+ and they said no problem, it is covered. They gave me 2 options. Either they collect it and will repair or replace within 7 working days for my £55 excess or I can get an Express Replacment where they will send me a new watch in 24-48 hours and I give the courier my old watch as they deliver the new one. Express Replacment costs £84 total.

With the express service they also place a old on my card for the full cost of an out of warranty Replacment until they receive the broken one back, then they release the hold.

Think I am going to opt for the Express Repacment. After waiting 41 days the watch is everything I wanted it to be and I don't want to be without it for a week.

Only problem is as I am in Italy they can't do anything right now. Need to call them when I get home and they will have one out to me in 24-48 hours.

In the mean time I need to stick to my sports band with space grey pin.

Look after your watches guys!! The coating is solid and does not have a single mark on it, but the metal it is attached to night not be quite so robust.

Proper; proper gutted right now and has put a downer on my holiday. :(

Damn, man, that's just awful! Why can't they ship you one in Italy? (doesn't matter where the watch is launched - they should ship where you are!)

I did ask them, their T&C says I need to be in the UK/Ireland as that is the division of Apple who I am dealing with.

Well, that's messed up. I get that for computers, but they're supposed to be competing with Watch companies now. You could be anywhere on the planet and AppleCare+ should be expressing you a new watch.

I think you should send Tim Cook an e-mail - I'm sure their escalation team will realize this is something they've missed.

You are about to be overcharged - challenge what you have been quoted when you get home!

For UK customers, Express Replacement is included as part of your AppleCare+ benefits, with nothing extra to pay on top of the standard excess.
