Yeah, you're not coming across in the best light to be honest with you.
[doublepost=1490371733][/doublepost]Aaaaaaaaaanyway, back on subject...

Of course I am not. I get accused of boasting on this forum because I own the Ceramic edition of the watch, and people jump all over that. Now a user has 5 AWs, some being the same series in the same material and I am out of line for questing why and saying it sounded boastful. Oh well, I am use this from this forum. You guys can get back to talking about the first gen SB SS. I guess that is what was being talked about.

This doesn't even include my Watch band collection! And if anybody is wondering, I wear them all. @ZebraDude might appreciate this collection as well.

WOW!! Impressive. And I was sitting here yesterday thinking what to do with my old AW Sport. Trade in is, eh..not really worth it to me. So I'll keep it for now as a backup..still may give it to my brother. I do have one of those (perhaps silly) shiny silver bumpers with a 3rd party silver milanese loop bands on the Sport. In some tiny - inexpensive way it gives the appearance of a completely different watch. Or maybe just slap on a black or white silicone band.

But I will be wearing the SS mostly, absolutely love it! Thats the one I wanted in April 2015, but 900+ bucks..I couldn't do that price at the time. I'm waiting for my black milanese loop, should arrive today.

The black Milanese is a really nice band. Just don't let the black Milanese loop come into contact with the sapphire display. There were reports of the diamond like carbon scratching the Sapphire display from the Milanese band. Otherwise, it's a stellar band.

Oh wow!, THANK YOU for that heads up, I had no idea. I do have a Zagg screen protector on my Sport..just to protect the "weaker" screen. And it has saved me from really destroying that face a few times, my 3rd party silver Milanese band didn't affect that Sport screen..maybe because of the protector.

Anyway, I planned to skip the protector on the stronger SS Sapphire screen. I'll be careful, I've been pretty good at keeping the old Sport looking darn near mint for almost 2 years...knock on wood, But yeah I know it only takes one brief, and heart stopping mentally painful instance (banging it on a car door, hitting it on someones shopping car walking down a store aisle, usually some freak accident.)

OMG! You are a god among men! I have 5 as well but no where as nice.

I have a 42mm Series 0 SS Brown Leather Loop, Series 0 42 mm Sport Space Gray, Series 0 38 mm SSSB with SB Apple link band, Series 1 in a LunaTik case (my tough guy!) and Series 2 gold aluminum.

I knew I wasn't the only forum with five Apple Watches. Nice collection yourself.

I can't believe you guys have 10 watches between you! What do you do with them all? Do you wear one on each arm, one on each leg and one on your.....you know...

I can't justify having 5 at all.

I started getting a second one due to battery issues as I work out a lot as well as wearing the watch 24 hours.

Then I bumped into the deal for the first generation SSSB 38mm (wish I could have found it in 42) with the space black link bracelet for 350$ at BestBuy!(my best looking Apple Watch)

Then I ran into a deal on Blinq.com for a series 0 42 Space Black return for $205.00.

I am a caregiver for my home bound wheel chair using mom and i fell in love with the LunaTik brand of cases bands for their look (big I'm a big guy) and they really protect the watches from hits and dings (I'm folding up and unfolding wheel chairs all the time and that can be very hard on a watch.

The apple watches has helped me on a journey in converting me from a morbidly obese person to a strong fit person.

Went from 400 pounds mess to a trim strong 210 pound guy in a bit over a year and I had a Apple Watch on my wrist the whole time.

It's funny I had gotten a LunaTik case at first as the regular bands were too small for my wrists at first and now I have had to take links out of my 38mm!

Awesome collection! Got most of the materials represented. How is it changing from the 42mm to a 38mm?

My wrists are huge (my skeleton was built to carry a lot of weight) so the 38mm looks too small but it is SO gorgeous I have keep it! Battery life blows if the watch is doing background app updates.

BIG looks best on me. One of the reasons I like my Lunatik cases.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess some of you don't know any watch collectors that okay I get that. I know a guy that probably spends 10's of thousands buying and selling watches every year. He loves them and he only has two arms one of which he wears a watch on.

I have three Apple watches, all of which I bought in one week.

I also have about 10 mechanical watches and three Casio digitals that I bought in the last year. I love watches. It's not a bad thing to collect.

Just got my popcorn guys, so I can see a certain user come along and slate another for having 5 watches... stay tuned!
He asked why someone had 4 of the same size/finish. Something I wondered myself. Having a 42mm series 0 in SS, then a 42mm series 2 in SS I get, but people are allowed to ask why one would have say.. 3 42mm series 0 SS watches. There are plenty of members like ZebraDude who have shown a collection of different sizes and materials/colours and I haven't seen people bugging those people

Yeah, asking is fine, but how he went about things following was a little over the top.

You might want to be careful asking things like that here lol. Honestly I understand having different colors generations of the AW, but having multiple AW that are the game generation and finish really makes no sense at all. It's not about the money, or statues or anything like that for me. The practicality of it just does not work. It's like having 5 of the same G-shock watches in the exact same color. What in the world do you need 5 of the game exact Watch for? In what use case does that makes sense.

What if someone is a little OCD and buys 5 so they look pristine for longer?

There is nothing wrong with asking or inquiring about one's collection, which I was happy to share my photo's from another requested forum member, which I answered the questions as to why my choices.

But the initial inquiry started bitter when asking why someone would own five in a disrespectful tone and could have implied/asked in a more respectful manner, leaving out "Ridiculous" or "Why the Hell". But when someone continually nags "Why do you own five" and displays a bitter attitude stating I was "Boasting" for correcting him on a reply, which was inadvertently rectified, exhibits someone with a poor attitude and thwarts the thread with negativity. Furthermore, then continually leads on a tangent why it's ridiculous, when someone else's choices are not of their own to deem what someone else's chooses to do with their money. Point is, be respectful and respect others decisions without chastising.

So you buy 5 iPhones so that you can switch back and forth to keep them looking good? Spending $500+ on a watch multiple times so that you can keep one pristine seems pretty extreme to me. On top of the fact that I think that is not a ligament reason to buy 3 of the same AWs, that was never listed as a reason when I asked this question in this thread. I think that is just a bit of a stretch to come up with a reason to have 3 of the same AW.

Some people just have extreme OCD, what can I say?

Ok yeah I guess that's all you can say.

I just lost all interest in the conversations to be honest.

Its not OCD. Its anal retentive. Big difference.

Nope, it can be OCD if you keep checking your watch all the time under light for scratches etc., always thinking the worst things could happen to it, or replaying times that someone might have touched it, or rubbed against it. People with OCD don't want to feel this way and hate what they do. People that are anal retentive are proud of their sense of accomplishment. So basically it can be either, buying more than one as you're scared they'll get scratched, or anal retentive as you like the neatness of a collection and them being pristine.
