Space Gray Orders Post here!

my order for 42 sg finally turned to preparing for shipment and they charged me. I am located in Los Angeles and order con# 12:03am. Does anyone know for sure if they are delivering tomorrow? Got the EOD on weds. Wondering if i should take work off tomorrow or if they come early on Saturdays or what.
 
My order status just changed to Preparing for shipment...oh joy!

Did anyone get a tracking number on their order tonight?

EDIT: I just checked Bank of America online banking and confirmed my card also just got charged as well!

Does anyone have any idea why some get through quickly and others don't? I'm not sure that it is just a matter of heavy traffic. If that were the case, I would think the page wouldn't load at all rather than keep saying the store was down.

Have people noticed any trend? For example, like the east coast got through promptly while Hawaii (where I am) had a delay? Or is it entirely luck where my neighbor may get through promptly even though I don't?

I'm not sure if this really worked, but when I opened the store app, I thought I could see the navigation icons under the "come back soon" picture. So as I opened the app, I tapped where my favorites button would be. Had the favorited watch and payment ready to go. Honestly, it happened so fast I paused for 30 seconds making sure I didn't mess anything up. That probably cost me the day of delivery (that and ordering the most popular combination).

One other thing, besides the delay in being able to even access the store, was a problem with the credit info.

They put up a form for me to check or correct and everything looked right. But when I tried to continue, the same form came up with a notice to correct the items in red. Well, the only thing in red was my "alternative" phone number. That is the same as my home phone and that info was in there so I got real worried wondering what they wanted since I had no other alternative! So I just tried to continue again without success.

When I examined it again, I noticed my home phone number had the area code followed by the usual 7 digits. But my "alternative" number had a "1" before the area code. When I removed that, I could proceed. Must admit, it ticked me off as I lost even more time!

I've had quite a few irrational chats with my wife (who could care less about the watch) and brother (who has his 42 MM silver WSB already when it was supposed to arrive 4-6 weeks). I needed to vent and thankfully they let me get it out of my system...for now 🙂

At the moment, this crap makes no sense to me that I can only shake my head and smile. But ask me again in 5-10 min. I should be sleeping bc I'm running a half marathon in the morning and I'm here checking status on a damn watch!

And I totally understand what you are saying.

Ok Apple, I give up. You win. Clearly staying up until 3 am wasn't enough to get my watch in April. I'm not obsessing any more. I'll check back in a few weeks.

Me too. In Dallas/Fort Worth area. Unless there's just a lot less people on here from mid America I haven't seen crap for our area!!! I'm finally starting to get a little pi$$ed off myself.
