To be fair, speaking of my own experience, when I began my purchase (on an iPad), it gave the 4/24-5/8 time frame. Only after I had clicked "Buy" and after it came back and asked for the 3 digit number on the back of my credit card, and at the point of confirming my order did the time frame change to 5/13-5/29. My jaw dropped. My time? xx:04:41. Did they really so grossly underestimate demand that they felt comfortable posting a range that, as it would turn out, would only be good for the first 3-4 minutes of online availability, forcing them then to then push out availability to a full month later. The latter range remained good till well into the next morning. So 3-4 minutes for the first time frame, but 9 hours or more for the second. Can you blame people for being upset? "The Watch is here." Um, not really.
One last piece of information, UPS is picking it up from an Apple facility in Mount Juilet, TN according to the track info on UPS website.

That sucks. Though I see no way you won't receive yours by Wednesday at the latest if shipping continues like the way it has been you should be right on the cusp.
Mine comes tomorrow but I just ordered 3 stainless steel watches and going to see which charges and ships first and if it's within the window of my SG return period I'll return it . Gonna need that money for rent anyways

I reached the checkout screen at 3:02, at which point it still said 4/24-5/8, but had to update both my billing and shipping address before I could complete the order, which took about 2 mins.
So it's possible that i completed the order at 3:04 and got the email at 3:05

so it seems a whole bunch of the first wave preorders are either done or almost done. second wave with dates of 4/24-5/8 have been getting their shipment notifications/charge notifications, so thats good. the third wave, 5/13-5/27 have just started to hit now. more and more are coming thru. i'm in that 4th wave, june deliveries still. maybe tuesday will be my day

Seems to me that the 4/24 to 5/8 delivery window was the first wave.
And 5/23 to 5/27 was the second wave.
June the third wave.
And after that comes the purgatory wave
I must have missed something here with that 4/24 first wave confirmed delivery.
I thought that everyone got a delivery date range. If I'm wrong I'm sure many will happily correct my errors
