Space Gray Orders Post here!

I don't know what's worse, my insanity to continuously check this site, or my 5 year olds persistence to ask if I have my watch yet. Thinking I'm a little to excited and its rubbing off on my kid

Apple adds Insult to Injury during the waiting game. I would HOPE that they know I ordered 2 watches on April 10th at xx:04 (38 SS/Pink) and xx:05 (42 SG). No CC charges on either order. Both still "Processing".

A follow up, I check earlier today and it was still preparing to ship...Now I checked again and it says it was shipped and has my tracking number with next day air. I used my UPS app to change it to hold for pickup at my local UPS. I should have it tomorrow, and my wife saw the charge and didn't yet at me.


Just noticed it is showing up in my support profile on Apple's site too.

I just replied to that stupid Apple advertisement saying that the watch is NOT here lol I know no one will get the reply but it made me feel better

That's odd since you are xx:08 which is not far off from people in the 05 - 06 range who are getting shipping notices now. How could you be a whole month out from that?

I'm xx:12 so if what the rep said to you is true, I guess I'm looking at June.

But the reps have been providing notoriously inconsistent info so who knows.

I haven't found as much use for it as I thought. Maybe I haven't got into it with notifications and such. And maybe I don't get as much notifications as other.

I think the Twitter apps and such are pointless as I can just pull out my phone and get a full view.

With the new job I'm starting in a few weeks I may find it useful as I will actually have it remind me of meeting start times and such.

I don't have mine yet - but I have no intention of putting social media apps on the watch.

I only want the watch to notify me when it's something a bit more important/urgent. Phone calls, text messages, perhaps emails...

I don't expect to be overrun with notifications. I just want the important ones. So I probably won't be a heavy user.

I just want it to give me alerts and do menial tasks so I don't have to get my phone out for every notification to see if it's a work emergency I have to deal with.

My phone will still buzz Twitter notifications - but I'll know they aren't important and that they can wait. My Watch will tell me if something is urgent.

That's what I want the watch to do - so the fact that I won't be using it that often is part of it's value in my opinion.

Would you mind mentioning when you were charged? I'm still trying to guess whether I might get delivery tomorrow, or if it'll be Thursday. Charged before midnight last night. (Sorry again to those still Processing, fingers crossed for you.)

Edit: And I just checked Apple and I've been updated to Shipped and I have a tracking number. UPS doesn't recognize the tracking # yet.

Edit 2: I just got shipping email from Apple which says it'll be delivered tomorrow. So: charged before midnight = delivers the second day. East coast US.

I didn't see any use for Twitter until I learned last week you can subscribe to feeds with traffic and road emergency closure reports. Very handy when you have a long drive planned.

These are my sentiments exactly. I will undoubtedly drain the battery faster the first few days as I will be setting it up and customizing it to my taste, but I don't plan on receiving too many "taps" every day.

Ditto here, about a minute after you. I had to insiist they locate the second order. Just like you, both processing endlessly.

Yep, the status updated overnight as you predicted! Sitting at my house right now waiting for it. UPS website says end of day, mobile MyChoice says 1:30 to 5:30, either way this is going to be agonizing...

Glad yours has shipped, bet you can't wait until tomorrow!

You can subscribe to just specific feeds with the Watch? That's interesting.

I'm still not sure about it... but I'll at least give that some thought.
