42mm SG - XX:08:15

Just chatted with Apple rep and they confirmed my dates have been pushed out. Original was May 15-28 and now May 19-29. Told me it reflects production.
 
A couple of pages back there was questions of if a card is charged if you can expect a shipment or how long in advance are they charging cards. I spoke to Apple yesterday because I WANTED my card charged (please, take my money haha) I hate having a large sum of extra money in my acct. Anyway I spoke with 1 rep and 1 higher up than him and they said it was very explicit policy that a card cannot and will not be charged until an order is ready to be shipped. So if you see a charge it may take some hours to reflect and for Apple to physically start that process but they were super clear with me on that yesterday. Maybe that helps a little!

You won't - same thing happened with me and 12-15 hours after updating the payment info - the order shifted from processing to preparing to ship to shipped.

Anyone know if it is a bad idea to change delivery address once you have gotten charged and labeled as "preparing for shipment?

Or can you?

I do not even like visiting the page....scared I will accidentally hit cancel lol :)

i believe you need a My Choice account to change address as it's shipping.

If you call UPS to change the delivery date, you may see ur watch come a day later, or if it doesn't get changed in time, it will go to the original address.

As for changing it on Apple's site, you cant once it prepares for shipment

I don't think you can change it once it goes into "Preparing".

You can if you call UPS/Apple. UPS usually doesn't have control because of some agreement that Apple has with them (Apple has access to the shipping addresses and information in UPS' database). You can change it by calling Apple, otherwise. But like i said before, it adds days to your expected delivery.

No, no EOD. She told me that she could see my order and my original quoted dates (which matched my info) and that they had adjusted my dates (didn't send me email, I discovered it through constant refresh of order status page. ;)

Shipping by May 27 would make me pretty happy... shipping any time before that would make me ecstatic.

Checked CC this morning around 7:00 EST and pending charge was showing! Order status still showing processing though.

Preparing to Ship: 04/28 nothing yet
Tracking Email: 04/28 No
Scheduled Delivery: nothing yet. hopefully soon. No my choice alert

As a note I am in Phoenix, AZ.
