There are outliers, but SG orders in the US seem to be roughly following this pattern. A few :03's and :04's to go and into the :05's with a few :06's now.

Based on reports from several who received them yesterday, those watches were assembled in week 17 i.e. as late as last Saturday.

Most of the activity on this forum has been :02-:06's so we might be able to infer that peak orders trailed off from :07 and later. If that's the case the current delivery rate will remain until the :07's are done.

Whether or not is gets faster for subsequent orders would depend on whether production of SG remained at the current level or was adjusted.

Off course this is all speculation.

I gave up trying to figure out how it works. I'm at :06 and 29 seconds for my confirmation email. No charges or anything yet I've seen some :07s get charged and shipping so it's got to be a combination between time/location and other variables.

My wife's Sport w/Green was manufactured week 14 or as late as April 5. If they are building 250-300K/wk there wasn't a huge supply for day 1, but many more per day went out last Fri/Mon than we're seeing now.

Where can you find out when it was built?

Oh, I know with 100% certainty that none of us got it right as far as what's going on, but it's still fun to play the guessing game :)

I have read the vast majority of these 200+ pages, and finally I have an update!

Status changed to Preparing for Shipment sometime between midnight and 6am PDT today for both:

38mm email confirmation time 00:05.15
42mm email confirmation time 00:05:56

Shipping to southern California.

Wishing the rest of you a speedy shipment!

Which time should i go by?

I have a dilemma. My email conformation in Outlook for 42mm Space Gray says received xx:06 but the sent time says xx:13. How can the sent time be later than the received time and which one should I believe?

Thanks.

Have we figured out the correlation between the charge and when the Watch enters the country.....or where it is located.... or is that still up in the air for debate?

SG 42mm received today has a production week of 16. This is consistent with my 38mm received Friday, they were both apparently 'made' about two weeks beforehand. (38mm was week 15, rec'd 4/24.)

It's still up for debate. But it seems like it is after the planes land in Louisville. But honestly, I don't think anyone knows. Apple reps don't know either.

How so? It was released Friday (01), adding Sat, Sun, Mon, Tue (05). Means they started working on the 05s yesterday. It'd also make sense that it'd actually slow down after a few minutes as they can only product a finite number of watches prior to launch and it's pretty evident that they sold all those and then some. At this point in time almost everyone that's still owed a watch has to wait for it to actually be manufactured.

Yes, good point. For some reason I was thinking it started on the 20th, but that doesn't make sense...

What time was your order? I'd say pretty early if you received 4/24. Not a lot of people with 38mm space grey got theirs on launch day.

Sorry for the confusion. I have a 38mm white sport (mine). But I've been a member of this thread on behalf of my BF's 42mm SG, which was finally delivered today.

I haven't seen reference to this before. My Watch is out for delivery and I received this email from Apple:

It will ship today, and you'll get it tomorrow. Congrats!

This happened yesterday as well. Basically nothing happened until 5am this morning.

It is sooo frustrating! In all honesty I do not mind waiting and I'm trying to be understanding of the situation, logistics etc., is just the lack of clarity and randomness of it all. I don't enjoy the feeling of being in the "Dark" sort of speak and I know plenty of arguments can be brought upon my opinion but it is just that my opinion and 2 cents.#

Do most people who had their watches debited to their accounts have a change in order status soon after (what is the timeframe)?

My account was charged early morning (4/29) and still nothing...
