Space Gray Orders Post here!

Crazy to see they're filling orders from 4 and 5 minutes into pre-orders! Yowzers...I ordered the morning of the 11th after going to the store for my try on appointment; I'm hoping they start to ramp this up otherwise I can't imagine June is even an option!

Also I have to say...what's the point of pre-orders delivered in June, mid June and I'm sure late June? By then Apple has said they'll have them in the store. Unless by 'hoping to have them in store in June' they mean June 30th. Everything about this launch has been stretched to the last possible minute. Not upset mind you just scratching my head at how odd this is.

charges are just the start to another waiting game. I was charged more than 24 hours ago with no movement. Another poster was was charged over a week ago with no preparing to ship.

Its all a waiting game!

If you were charged over a week ago and it has not shipped you have a problem. Apple does not charge you until they allocate you a unit and it does not take a week for them to ship it to you

Remember there are also pre-authorizations that aren't actual charges. I don't know if the guy you were quoting was referring to someone that got an actual charge or not.

I know about the pre-authorizations, assumed he was not referring to this because we all had them and they never post to the account, but your probably correct and he just misspoke/misunderstood.

Everyone gets those. It's how they tell if your card is good. They fall keep falling off until you are really charged

This morning my status switched from "processing" to "preparing for shipment," and I got an email over the noon hour that it was shipped, and is apparently being over-nighted via UPS to deliver tomorrow! Additionally, my card was charged.

I was pretty shocked, since I know some of you guys with much earlier times (and by "much," I mean those very weighty seconds) are still waiting for movement. It's like a new form of survivor's guilt over here...

I was in the 6 minute area and mine is preparing to ship today....
 
Contacted Apple again, they said it was the pre-auth charge, so I still have to wait. Ridiculous how :05 have gotten theirs and they haven't completely charged me. XX:04:56

And:06s have gotten theirs beforev my :05 just the nature of the wait. Pre-auths are nothing. Those happen when you placed the order. There is no correlation between those and getting actually charged and shipped.

I had a pre-auth day after purchase that fell off. I've had pending charges that haven't fallen off for almost two days. Few posts back another poster had pending for a few days with no movement yet.


Any case just want my dang watch. 28 Days and counting!
 
I have read all 200 plus pages over the last few days.
(I registered just to write this post)
I cannot tell if it's helping me stay sane, or making my watch waiting worse.
But I wanted to post something that's been irking me.
I work at a place where a lot of people preordered the watch.
I ordered the 42 SG BSB around XX:12:??. A coworker of mine ordered the exact same moments before me. Well we also have another co worker who ordered the same watch HOURS after us. He got his past Saturday?!
The rest of us have not seen movement.

Seriously making me feel like a crazy person.

Has anyone else seen this happen?

Yours will be here in next few days. I ordered at xx:04:34. I got charged this morning and it is shipped now. I am also in FL. The charge for FL looks behind other states but it will be there
 
April 10, xx:04:41: ordered Apple Watch via iPad app
Put in 4-6 week, 5/13-5/29 group.
Then "processing" hell until ...
April 29, 5:30 am - 8 am: credit card charged, "preparing for shipment"
April 29, 2 pm: shipping confirmation via Apple Store app notification
April 29, 2:05 pm: email confirmation with UPS tracking number
April 29, 3:45 pm: UPS confirms shipping label creation

Next steps are notifications of it leaving the UPS hub sometime tonight and notifications tomorrow of it arriving in my city and then being out for delivery.

Not bad. Much faster than I originally expected.
 
When my wife's came on Friday the UPS guy came before noon. Today, my delivery day, it's almost 4:30 and he hasn't come yet.

Killin' me here, man. I was psyched to take it to the gym tonight but I guess I'll have to have one last workout pre-AppleWatch.

Hey guys, once you get your Sport, PLEASE inspect it for damage. I just noticed today that the screen is fractured and the sensor housing is actually showing signs of an impact right in the middle.
 
How long has it taken for "preparing to shipment" to "shipped"? I have been in the "preparing to ship" phase all day
 
Just got mine yesterday, loving it so far. Original order was at xx:04:44 4/10 expected ship date 4-6 weeks, but got it a mere 5 days after launch. I wasn't always happy with Apple through the last two weeks, but I have to admit I was happy that not only did they exceed expectations and ship the device much earlier than the expected 4-6 weeks, but they also surprisingly overnighted it. I received a notification on Sunday that Apple took the money and had the Apple Watch by Tuesday night. Good luck to everyone else and hope you get yours soon. I practically lived on this site the last 5 days.
