That's not entirely correct. If production had ramped up then my order 4/11 would be much earlier in delivery date than the other guys order 4/19.

The only scenario in which ramped up production explains it is if they plan to ramp up production the week of June 20th which is not what the data suggests.

Maybe. And maybe yours still will be. Mine will arrive via standard shipping 3 days prior to my window start. We'll see how it continues.. I think ramped production would mean that you'd both get them earlier..

There's a June order thread but I keep seeing 38mm orders or Stainless Steel orders or other crap orders getting delivered... I'm only interested in my 42mm space grey sport order peeps! Where are we at with those orders?!?!

I think they're almost through the first hour of preorders. Long ways to go but 42mm SG's should start seeing movement similar to others where they'll jump by hours at a time and then days.

Really surprised that Apple underestimated the popularity of the SG model.

They have already finish the first hour. Stopped at 58.

How about mine? Ordered 42mm SG sport on 4/11 at 3:47pm PST

62% of the 1.4 million Apple Watches ordered in the U.S. on April 10 were ordered in the first hour. It took from May 6-21 to supply those watches. If we count on Apple continuing to fill at that rate, your watch will be delivered no later than June 2. (There were only 48,000 watches ordered on April 11.)

That's a crazy drop from 4/10 to 4/11!

Thanks a ton for the estimate. At this point, June 2nd doesn't sound so bad. Haha. Another month even isn't that bad anymore (considering how long I've already waited. My estimated date is June 22-29 so if it really is June 2nd that will be great, considering my initial estimate was "June"

So technically I was accurate. Almost through the first hour lol! Just messing with ya. I do worry about the 42mm SG's though. If those have been as popular as it seems they may lag behind all the others for a while. Wonder if Apple regrets not charging a little more for the SG models...

Today, for the first time, I did not check my order status on the Apple site It was driving me crazy and I only ordered on 4/30, so not waiting as long as many others.

I am just going to wait for the delivery window of 6/26 - 7/6 and hope it arrives earlier. It is hard, but have to resign myself to it is what it is. A plus is that some of the issues that have arisen with the early deliveries might have been addressed by the time I get mine.

Nice! So that's 1h, 6m after pre-orders opened? Are you in a EST county? (isn't Indiana split between CST and EST)

Hello second hour!!

I've stopped worrying about my shipping date and paying closer attention to store availability instead. I honestly believe I'm going to be able to buy my watch in a store before it shows up on my front porch. And I ordered on April 12!!!

I'm 22-29 June window so maybe I'll check again in a week just to see if it got bumped up by chance.

Just did the math and your watch will be arrive anywhere from June 9-11. Circle it on the calendar.

I thought the same thing. And im sure that if they start selling it in the store, they should give us priority or a way we can reserve our watch and then return the one that was shipped

Not speculation. Analysis performed by Slice Intelligence. Investors Business Daily published the Slice data regarding first day sales. IBD is second only to the Wall Street Journal as the go-to daily financial publication in the U.S.

The below links are to the relevant Slice data.
