Not sure if having the ability to watch the flights leaving China and flying into Anchorage is a good thing or not....there are 4 flights on their way now. I look into the site each day, watch flights come in, and then get my hopes that my watch arrived in the US dashed...Maybe I need a new hobby. :)

I ordered my 38 mm SG on April 26. I initially got charged $1 for my AppleCare + which dropped off, but I just got charged $49 an hour ago. Does this mean that the charge for the watch could be coming soon?????

No, they changed the way they charge for pre-orders this year. I received a charge for the AppleCare portion of my purchase and called them, the guy told me starting with the Apple Watch, they now charge for AppleCare up front, and the item upon shipment. I confirmed with him the descrepency between the 2 purchases as far as when my AppleCare started, he said it starts when I receive the watch.

I know I know crazy talk right here like conspiracy ******** lol but I think the incoming airplane from Shenzhen Bao'an Int'l aka where the watches are made to Alaska will have our watches for the xx:18-xx:19 and above and whatever is left before that in time. The reason being is if you look at flights on May 17th there was 2 planes from Shenzhen to Alaska arrived around the same time this current plane is meaning we might get ours by the end of business on Friday hence that huge ****ing wave that knocked out most of the times up till xx:17, which if you haven't noticed on the forums is when most orders were put in and after the xx:17 there wasn't has many orders. Idk maybe I'm just ****ing losing it from this whole ordeal over a ****ing watch hahaha god damn apple lol

Well, I'm late to the party here. I had a 38mm SS BCB, used it for a week and returned it since I decided I wanted a 42mm. They showed me the 42mm SG with the bright blue leather loop band and I was sold. Placed my order Monday 5/18, just updated to 6/26-7/10 for shipping from 7/8-7/18. Now trying to time the leather loop band order, because I will hate having the band and no watch. So I think I'll wait a few weeks before placing the band order

Made it to 22 minutes!
Can't wait till it starts moving hours & then days.
I'm 4/19. Still hoping for early June instead of the 22-29 holding cell.

Where is yours shipping to & what was your original shipping window?

Yeah, I've been following obsessively and I didn't think I had basically any chance of getting it this week. I mean, they knocked out a few minutes of orders last week, but that was after a few days of shipments coming in. Didn't expect them to pack in another 4 minutes or so just a day or two later.

It's being shipped to Las Vegas, was given the may 19-june 11 window. It seems they started giving that window around the 20 minute mark.

Wtf?!?!? I'm xx:19 and nothing! Everyone PST AND CST are getting charged what about the EST PEOPLE?!?

There's another thread about this that focuses on those of us with May 29-June 11 promise dates, here. Some guy in Torronto got PFS before me despite the fact he ordered 2 hours later. My order was at 05:35 EDT and his was at 07:32 EDT. Bottom line: All of us in the 5/22-6/11 camp might get PFS within the next few days.

I'm getting the sense that those in the UK and Canada (at least) are on a different "line" than those of us in the US. I've seen several reports of people getting shipped who were past 1 hour but none from the US (at least that I"ve noticed in this thread...highest here was xx:22 or so...). But I haven't followed the other thread. I do think we'll see rapid ramp up soon...

The wait is over.

42SG BSB ordered 20h:13m:32s after pre-order open just went to PFS and money on CC is gone.

So long and thanks for all the fish.

I'm from Sydney in the land of Oz!

Charged

Wow, they must have moved fast over night. I'm 42 SG BSB, XX:53:32. Charged @ 11:37:32 last night, preparing for shipping... :)

Card declined due to receiving a new card two days ago didn't think I'd get hit for a charge last night. Updated info on apple, still processing for now. Anyone else who got their card declined know how long of a holdup it was towards getting it shipped. I was at 38 minutes after orders opened.

What amazes me is that my order was 4/11 12:47pm and I also have the June 22-29 slot. So if you have the same then it means that after the first 24 hours, they sold very few watches. In the first week after the first 24 hours they sold less than a day's worth of production.

This suggests the product may well be a flop.

I would have to agree with that last statement. 100%. I feel that they are creating a demand right now because it wasn't that strong.

I think I will get mind a week ahead of the window but now that they aren't jumping ahead like they were I'm starting to think they are holding back some stock for an in store launch in June. Online pre orders can only go so far. Summer is here and people are traveling hoping they can walk in store and get a watch as they don't have an Apple Store close by. Everyday of summer that goes by and no watches in store I think they do lose a few customers who may just decide they'll wait until next year.

There are plenty of other things it might suggest, including ramp-up of production, and just getting over that huge pre-order surge. Look at the article on the front page right now showing ~30K/day average after the first rush. That's still a sizable amount of orders continuing to be placed.

That's not entirely correct. If production had ramped up then my order 4/11 would be much earlier in delivery date than the other guys order 4/19.

The only scenario in which ramped up production explains it is if they plan to ramp up production the week of June 20th which is not what the data suggests.
