Space Gray Orders Post here!

I ordered my 38 mm SG on April 26. I initially got charged $1 for my AppleCare + which dropped off, but I just got charged $49 an hour ago. Does this mean that the charge for the watch could be coming soon?????

Probably another preauth charge. If it was the watch you would be charged the amount of it followed by apple care.

I would say your shipping estimates already take into account there is no delay for customs clearance, air shipment, etc. There is a google spreadsheet linked a few (dozen?) pages back in this thread where ppl have been putting in their order times and shipping estimates. It would be interesting to see if your shipping estimates are a few days better than those of ppl who ordered around the same time.

I went online and printed out paper "dummy" watches to try on before ordering. I have a Citizen Eco Drive that is pretty small. It's only 5mm thick. It is a squarish 42 mm case and I realized that while I initially thought I'd like the 38mm, I really wanted the 42. I went to the Apple Store for a try on appointment and confirmed what I'd learned using the paper "watch." This allowed me to order within a few hours of initial preorder window opening up and I'm STILL waiting until late May or early June, (5/29-6/11 to be exact).

I was also agonising over SS or SG - just as I feared, in part because of the way the bands are attached, the 38mm milanese loop looked much more natural on me than the 42, whereas the 38mm sport just looked wrong. so i still had a big decision to make after trying on, but went fo the sport.

annoyingly my wife waited until 29/4 to decide on a watch and order. her 38mm sport green is preparing for shipment now :'(

Ordered on 4/10 @ xx:18:17.
Card charged sometime late last night or early this morning.
Preparing for shipment to Colorado.
Original delivery estimate was 5/13–5/27.

42mm Space Gray ordered 27/10 I thought keeping on top of the Link watches was onerous,
I can't believe this is going to be an even longer wait!

This is great news! Mine was 2h:35:00 in US. Perhaps mine will go preparing for shipment sometime this week since my promise date is 5/29-6/11. Please confirm yours was a 42mm SG with BSB, right?
 
38 SGS BSB ordered 4/26, preparing for shipment overnight and charged. Austin TX delivers May 21 - June 4th

42 SGS BSB ordered 4/26 - still processing, originally marked as 5/21 - 5/29, then changed to June last week, then changed to 6/22 - 6/29, then yesterday changed to 6/19 - 6/26.

Also I've seen someone say they they had this same date for the 42 but it changed to prepare for shipment last night?

If these do, indeed, contain extra stock of watches, it's no doubt headed toward Apple Stores to prepare them for in-store sales which will probably begin within 2 weeks.
 
Shipped…Finally

42mm ordered at xx:18:17 on 4/10.
Card charged sometime in the middle of last night.
Preparing for shipment just changed to shipped.
Delivery coming 5/21.
Located in Castle Rock, Colorado.

My wait is almost over. Whew!
