watch this.. it's a three parter..provides clarity as to what happens in KY.. its a 24 hour operation.. nothing will sit there.. if things sit, they sit at the destination center.. not UPS WorldPort.
Have they been changing from Processing to Preparing for Shipment overnight? For some reason I thought that was only happening in the afternoon (west coast of US) last few days.
I too received the "email of death" but am trying to be optimistic for a Friday delivery.
The dreaded email does note possible delivery on Friday. I believe there may be one more wave tomorrow but will only be for some more orders before :05 if at the same rate they have been changing status since Monday. Will feel extra bad if anyone preparing to ship now doesn't receive Friday.
I'm a :04 so I would be perfectly happy with that one more wave coming through tonight or tomorrow morning!
I'm in the same boat. It's like we barely missed the cut off. Feel extra sorry for the :03 that haven't gotten confirmation when many other have. Seconds seem to have made a difference.

no, I have been in preparing for shipment since yesterday. Had a 12:01am order.
No location yet, just that a label has been created. It even says 'Label Created: 04/23/15".
I am 3:03 EST, got charged at 7 but had wrong CC info in there. Around 11PM I now have a pending charge of ~425 to my correct credit card, but still showing 'processing'
Ready for the tracking email to arrive.......

What model did you order?
Depends on a lot of variables. When I order stuff from B&H Photo in NYC, I get overnight delivery for standard shipping. And it has to make two stops before it gets to my delivery hub. I live about 100 miles away, and the items never get to the first stop (Maspeth) before 10pm.
