I ordered a 38mm space gray sport for my fiancee right when ordering opened up (3:04:19 confirmation email). I then placed an order for my 42mm space gray sport (3:03:25 confirmation email).
My 42mm, which I ordered after the 38mm, has shipped. The 38mm is still processing and I received 'the' email last night.
Friday is her birthday but she's not really concerned about the possibility of not getting hers on launch day. Amateur.

Around 3pm (preorders opened at 8:01am.
Ordered 38mm at 8:08am, visited Apple store, saw 42mm, cancelled 38mm and got 42mm... Still no progress
Probably won't see any charges until 5:30pm EST. Although, due to the cut off time for next day deliveries, it's a bit doubtful that anyone that gets charged tonight will receive a watch tomorrow unless the orders goes right to "Shipped" and gets a tracking number right away.

Anyone feel like decoding my situation? I had to stop reading the email of doom drama last night so not sure if a new pattern emerged.
42mm SG/black sport, :03:32, Processing, no charge, NO email of doom. I am definitely receiving emails from Apple properly because I got a shipping email overnight that my 38mm/white has shipped. East coast, kind of close to a few potential hubs.
I see several people who got the alleged "email of doom" now had their status change this morning. Could NOT receiving the email of doom actually equal doom?

My gut says we still have a chance since we didn't get the email

well, I think I've officially given up hope. My fiances 38 Sport White is now showing up on UPS My Choice with a tracking # and at 1.8lbs. Still showing prepping for shipment from Apple but my 42 SG has yet to move from processing. Will be the first Apple product I don't get on launch day. Disappointing.

Ordered two 42mm SG Sports, first at 12:03 and second at 12:04 (although it seems that this doesn't matter to Apple...). Both still processing and I received email of death for both. Sad.. Good luck everyone.
UPS cut off is 7pm for regular people. For a big launch like apple it will be later
My phone didn,t get processed til LATE, when i went to sleep no info but when i woke up i saw it had been shipped.
If i got my watch monday i will be happy as i took off Friday and Monday. I took friday at 1st for the watch but ended up being bereavement days ( RIP grandad)
this week isnt going well , death in the family , chrome wheels for my dodge charger need to be ordered , and possible no watch . With that being said next week should ROCK for me then HA HA
KEEP HOPE ALIVE ( at least til the afternoon)
i order my SG Sport 2:02 email 2:03 no charge no nothing got EOD
I thought the email meant we were in queue and still will get them Friday but from the masses eveyone is just taking it as no watch friday. Technically they are still delivering the wacth as promised when you 1st place the order so they arent late . people just pissed they arent early either
