Should I be scared if I haven't gotten the email of death???

Anyone feel like decoding my situation? I had to stop reading the email of doom drama last night so not sure if a new pattern emerged.

42mm SG/black sport, :03:32, Processing, no charge, NO email of doom. I am definitely receiving emails from Apple properly because I got a shipping email overnight that my 38mm/white has shipped. East coast, kind of close to a few potential hubs.

I see several people who got the alleged "email of doom" now had their status change this morning. Could NOT receiving the email of doom actually equal doom?

My email confirmation arrived a few seconds after yours, and I'm in the same situation. No one really knows, but it's easy to see why people think the email means no Friday delivery. Most who received it have no charges or status changes and we're a day away.

Got the email last night. 42mm Space Gray sport with black band. Order conf came in at 3:04 in Ohio. Are there any more planes etc being staged for delivery tomorrow?

Ordered same as you and same time as you and I also live in Ohio.

Took a closer look at my fiances UPS tracking and saw that her watch and I assume mine as well are coming from Rialto, CA only an hour or two flight to CO. There may yet still be hope, its ridiculous what we convince ourselves of.

My parents in another nearby New England state both ordered 38/42mm Sport with white bands and they received tracking numbers that show guaranteed delivery for tomorrow by 3pm.

I just had to click the damn Space Grey!

Interesting, you had your payment taken and got the EOD and are still in processing? That's tough.

I have not had any money taken and am still in processing and received EOD.

Was thinking the same thing, this is by far the worst ordering experience in Apple history. They don't even put people in a queue in the order properly, it's completely random. Awful customer service all around from not meeting release dates to hype for almost a year.. and they can't get the product out the door? This wouldn't have happened 6 years ago by any means.

I think our only hope is that a decent chunk of SG orders are sitting in hubs right now. By tonight they are shipped out and waiting for us tomorrow.

At this point, I feel that's pretty optimistic. More realistically, we will be getting them next week.

It may have always been silly, but we've got to keep our spirits up somehow.

In the same exact boat, except mine is a 42, at least almost no one is getting SGs at launch. No need to have FOMO of not having the new hotness

Yup same here. My 42 and 38 Silver Sport are coming tomorrow, and my Space Gray is just chilling somewhere in the world. My guess is we'll keep seeing new shipping notices every day, so I expect to see more movement this afternoon for Monday and such. So hang in there guys and gals, next week is almost here! Just avoid MacRumors over the weekend

Ordered 4/10 around 3:00pm EST. Received "Processing Items" email at 4:05pm

Nothing has changed yet. Card hasn't been charged or anything.

I've been checking nonstop since 4/10 as if, by some miracle, I'll see a change.
