Im at the 04:05 confirmation. However when were are talking about mere seconds here it could be that there is some delay when apple processes the order and when it shows up in our email. It could be that some people are actually ahead of others. But yea I'm pissed I would have been quicker but I wasted a good minute trying to figure out why I couldn't get two watches ordered with the apple store app and how I couldn't ship to the store.
I also think saturday delivery is an option. With so many first wave people without a watch I doubt they will not cough up the extra few dollars for saturday delivery.
Early adopters are very important for the business model. Nothing spreads faster than bad news and word of mouth is the best advertising. As a company I would think keeping your early adopters happy is important because I'm sure the rest of you guys are like me and will show your friends and try to convince them to get one too and know more about this watch than any apple retail employee dare try.

were you charged? is there anyone who has an update that has NOT been charged yet? seems to me the first thing we should see is a charge as any kind of indicator.
No action yet...I got the e-mail of doom yesterday and it is still marked as "Processing"
Same thing here pretty much. Mine got in at 3:02 and going to NYC. No movement, no email, no CC charge, nothing.
A little experiment
I ordered a 38MM SG Watch, :06.36 confirmation email (should I be worried?)

Just about 10 minutes ago I ordered a 42MM SG (just go the confirmation email)

I'm interested to see which Watch will see movement first.
(Hopefully one moves before the other so I don't end up paying for both at the same time)

No email of death, updates, any kind of emails at all...
Only difference is my card has been charged...don't know what to make of that.

Well...FUN STORY TIME.
I used
Pay through the Apple Store app on my iPhone to buy the watch, used my Cap 1 card, and on the app it showed a different last four digits than my actual card (which I assumed was just Pay using the digital card number and that didn't bother me too much). Yesterday afternoon I got an email around 7pm saying that the card did not go through and they couldn't process my order. Called Apple Support immediately and she said that had been happening to a large amount of people who paid with Pay through the app to get the watch, gave her my correct card number and we were good to go. She stated that since I caught it fast enough it wouldn't affect my delivery times or anything to delay my order.The card was charged almost immediately after, so around 7:30pm EST last night.

So I live in Boston, but am staying in CT this week with my parents since my wife and son are on April vaca. Knowing I would be here when the watch is released I had it shipped to my parents house. Received the email of death last night and when leaving my parents house for my in-laws, casually mentioned that we may be back on Saturday if my watch is shipped. My father said he received a UPS notification that a two pound package is being shipped from Ontario, CA and will be delivered tomorrow. Still no update on the order page, so I'm hoping this is the watch.

So you are processing and have gotten a shipment notification for UPS? How did your father receive this notification?
Ha. No, both of our parents live in CT so we're down here for the week...together. I had the watch shipped to CT instead of Boston because we'd be here for the week.
Wow, way to jump to conclusions. He never said anything about skipping vacation for his watch.
It's processing with no update other than the EOD. I'm assuming he received the notification because having it shipped here triggered UPS My Choice.
