Space Gray Orders Post here!

42mm SG, 12:03:34, JUST got the charge this moment. Used ApplePay. Portland, OR. Have a 38mm Silver/whiteband that prepared for shipment earlier in the week. Looks like they just started going through again, so here's hoping for you guys too.
 
SG 42mm. Changed to Preparing Mid-Day Monday along with bank charge pending. Received UPS Tracking yesterday via Track by Reference around 10:30PM PDT. Woke up to Shipment Confirmation email and my Watch showing up on my Support Profile. Still no movement on the tracking however. Still says 'Ready for UPS'.

Email confirmation was received 04/10 at 12:02:18AM PDT. Never received EOD.

Well Apple made more of certain models, just like the iPhones. If Apple had the stock on hand to fulfill orders of certain models, why not fulfill them? Sure there will be people who ordered other models before hand, but they don't have stock to fulfill those. It's like an iPhone launch. I didn't get my order in until an hour after pre-orders started (I blame Verizon) but I was still able to secure a silver (wanted Space Gray) 64GB 6 Plus for launch day delivery while people who ordered Space Gray way before me were stuck with an October delivery date.

I think where Apple screwed up was saying April 24th was launch day. They should have never said that. Now a lot of people who ordered just after the store open and got a 4/24-5/8 time frame and don't get it on the 24th are going to be pissed. I completely understand, I would be too. But don't go and say Apple shouldn't have fulfilled order for models that were less popular. I would have gotten Space Gray even if it meant waiting an extra month because I like the color and don't want silver.
 
I checked my order and it still says June.

I ditched on preorder night when shipping was for end of May after 8 minutes of waiting for the order page to show up, then ordered one just to get on the waiting list the following day.

I still think I'll be able to get one retail before my online order ships, unless the delivery date slides up.

btw: shipping carrier looks like UPS from my friends who ordered other models. Yippee, I'll have to take time off work.

Same here. It's the color I wanted, too. I'm going to be wearing the watch for 2 years or so. I'd rather look at my wrist and and see the watch I wanted rather than the one I settled for.

Also, hindsight on this is always 20/20. It could have turned out that the SG was flying along, but they had a problem with the silver models and those were hung up.
 
Guh. Info in my sig is still correct. (And yes I do have a 4/24-05/08 window with that time stamp, and that has never changed. I must be at the extreme end.)
 
I was JUST charged right now. Charge happened at 1:59 PM EST

My order:

42mm Space Grey, confirmation email is stamped 3:03:24 EST
I'm in PA.

EDIT: Update!

As of 2:05 PM EST, this watch is now Preparing for Shipment.

UPDATE: I have no idea what it going on. I just got another charge on my AMEX for $422.94. I already have the 2 previous ones for the 38/42Silver so this HAS to be my SG. Ordered at :03:51.
HOWEVER, no tracking number and no change in status on Apple Store. So... yeah. I'm confused!
 
Update guys:

42mm SG Black band. 3:03. AMEX ApplePAy, Location: CT

Last night I received the EOD.

Today at 1:58 EST I received a notification Apple charged my AMEX. On the order screen it shows as processing.

Although it still says "processing items" hopefully this gives hope to those receiving the EOD.

Thats the first one I have seen in the X:04 range... I like it!
 
It's game over guys. I'll wander aimlessly while all of my 6 roommates have their silver watches that are guaranteed delivery tomorrow that were pushed up. They were quoted deliveries in mid May now it's guaranteed tomorrow with tracking numbers.

Damn this.

42mm SG/black, confirmation mail 00:03:40 PDT, just got charged.

At 10:57am PDT, got the following message from the bank.

Capital One Alert: A chrge or hold for $433.91 on Apr 23, 15 was placed on your VISA BUSINESS (XXXX) at APL*APPLE ONLINE STORE.
Std carrier chrges apply

Order status still shows Processing Items. And yes, I received the Email of Death last night. I'm in the SF Bay Area, if that matters.
