I used :apple:Pay through the Apple Store app on my iPhone to buy the watch, used my Cap 1 card, and on the app it showed a different last four digits than my actual card (which I assumed was just :apple:Pay using the digital card number and that didn't bother me too much). Yesterday afternoon I got an email around 7pm saying that the card did not go through and they couldn't process my order. Called Apple Support immediately and she said that had been happening to a large amount of people who paid with :apple:Pay through the app to get the watch, gave her my correct card number and we were good to go. She stated that since I caught it fast enough it wouldn't affect my delivery times or anything to delay my order.

The card was charged almost immediately after, so around 7:30pm EST last night.

I knew that was going to happen to me, since I restored my phone between 4/10 and this week. However, there have been a few comments that suggest that even restarting your phone will break the link between the secure token and your real card number. That makes some sense for security purposes, but it suggests that one shouldn't use Apple Pay for products that aren't going to be delivered immediately.

Since I'm stuck in 38mm Space Gray Sport EOD hell, they are increasing my agony because I know the charge will bounce. So I have to keep checking my Apple account often enough to not get bumped for lack of response.
 
So from what I see, maybe someone can confirm, but have there been ANY 38mm SG Sports charged and moved to preparing/shipped?

I have seen a bunch of 42mm SG sports moving but not a single 38mm.

Anyone?

im in same boat 2:03:37 not expecting tomorrow either, but will be pleasantly surprised if i get it

Woo hoo!

My husband's 42mm Space Gray Sport just got authorized on our card. His confirmation email came in at 3:04:01 EST on 4/10.

My 38mm White Sport got authorized and issued a tracking number days ago.
