will they cover replacements even if i bought it from amazon?
Wait, so the "fix" is a variation of the black sharpie trick instead of actually making the flash cutout larger?
I just walked into an AT&T store and picked up a speck candy shell black. Looks like the revised one. I took a few pics I'll post in a few.
Yeah, please do. I am waiting on my "revised version" from Speck which they told me will be another week or two. Problems is, I think I may already have that version, in which case, as I shared before, did not work to help the flash problem. IF your case looks like mine, then I am going to contact Speck back again and tell them to ship me a different case I guess.
Is this problem on all of the cases or just the black one. I found this one on amazon...
This says its the white one
This "revised" case still has the glare problem from my previous speck case. I don't mind Though. I still believe it's the best case as far as protection. I don't use the flash at all anyways.
I agree -- I rarely ever use the flash myself. I wish there was a way to make the flash default to "off" rather than "auto" every time I started the camera app. Because, yes, I am that lazy.![]()
Hum...Well thanks for the pictures. This confirms it that I guess I already do have the revised version. Guess I will contact Speck to see what they say.
The revised case has an oval cutout for the rear camera. Speck says they have not shipped any yet. What you see from AT&T, Amazon, etc. is the original case with the incorrect cutout (looks like a keyhole). I was told the rubber flaking issue would also be addressed with the revised case. None of my other Speck cases I've owned had problems with flaking rubber so I am hoping this issue will be resolved.
