I have been using Skinomi body wraps on my last few phones.... You don't notice it and they give it a nice grip. I find that's all the protection I need.

Has anyone tried the Apple Dock or the Everdock (Fuz Designs) with the Speck Candyshell case?

That case looks amazing. Only thing I don't like is the location of their logo. It overlaps the Apple logo. Looks kind of odd to me.

I don't have the Apple Dock, but the Candyshell Clear does work with my EverDock. Just remove the silicone adapter, and it fits just fine.

Also, just a quick update on the case.

I've been using it off and on since I got one with the correct logo placement, and the stickiness has lessened somewhat. Installing and removing the case is easier now than when I first got it. However, it is still too tacky in my opinion. While dust and lint don't get inside the case while the phone is installed, the tacky material also surrounds the bezel and camera cut-out, and does manage to attract some dust and lint there. As far as cleaning the case goes, it is still problematic to clean the inside. Using tape to remove lint works some, but it doesn't do very well. Rinsing with water, as Speck recommends, does a good job of removing dust particles, but the problem is drying the case. Using a paper towel or cloth will allow more lint to stick to the inside, while letting it air dry creates water spots. If anyone has any other cleaning tips, please share them.

I really wanted to like this case, but the sticky material used just kind of ruins it for me.

Thanks for the info...I like the Everdock better anyway.

Hopefully the stickiness will get better over time, as I just ordered the Candyshell Clear for my new 6+. I really like the Speck cases, in fact, I have one on an iPhone 5 that is three years old, and I put that case on the phone the day I bought it. The back of the case is scratched up pretty bad, but the phone is in mint condition, and that is after a few drops. From the reports that I have read, the new plastic is much harder to scratch.

Any plastic is going to scratch eventuallY. Just a matter of when not if.

Really curious about the stickiness of the case though. I used to be a Speck guy many moons ago until I gave up on thick cases and went in the opposite direction. I had always thought back then that I wished Speck would come out with something other than funky colors. Clear would be awesome. Amd now here they are with a clear one.

Something that I have now noticed after taking the case off and putting it back on is that the case seems loose now. The top right corner is easily movable and slides if I touch it and is clearly not closely attached to the phone. The power button portion of the case is also affected and no longer tight with the power button.

Anytime that I press on that portion of the case it is noticeably separated from the phone and there is a gap in there that causes tactile and auditory feedback from the gap. It's hard to explain, but hopefully that makes some sense.

We explain the stickiness of the case a little more clearly in our CandyShell Clear FAQ, here: http://www.speckproducts.com/faqs/candyshell-clear-faqs.html

In terms of thickness, we strive to design the optimal protection-to-size ratio, and because of this our CandyShell cases only add 0.14 inches to your iPhone 6. If you have any further questions I'd be happy to help you out at social@speckproducts.com.

Hey there, that doesn't sound right. Can you email me a few photos at social@speckproducts.com so I can take a look at the damage? Thanks!

The logo on half the back DESTROYS any chance I'd EVER consider this case. Have some class Speck, at least put it BELOW the Apple Logo, jeez.
Yeah that speck logo right over the top of the apple logo makes this case look crappy.

Hey there, maybe you didn't see the rest of the thread, but this is an easily fixable issue. All of our iPhone 6s/6 CandyShell Clear cases online right now have the new logo placement, if you have an existing one that you'd like swapped out, feel free to reach out to customerservice@speckproducts.com.

That certainly doesn't seem to be the case! I ordered a 6s + Clear Candyshell case this week from your online store (received 10/21), and it has the incorrect logo placement.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. All of our iPhone 6s/6 cases have the new logo placement. Our iPhone 6s Plus/6 Plus cases will not receive the correct logo placement until mid-November. At that time, you are free to reach out to customerservice@speckproducts.com to swap these out.

I got the new version. Awful case. It's SO SO THICK and not in an appealing way. The fit is just awkward. You can buy generic TPU cases for far less and the Tech21 line blows away Speck. The material feels gross out of the box, which may go away. The case is next to impossible to get on\off, and the overall look is just mediocre.

I returned mine.

speck has great customer service. They replaced my case without any issue that I had received as a gift. I got a case with the correct logo placement. I did end up getting the tech 21 evo check case in white/clear. My speck case ended up getting cloudy spots on the inside and no matter how many times I cleaned the case the spots would still appear. I followed all the instructions on the website but no matter what lint and dust sticks to the inside.
I really love the look of the speck case but my ocd wouldn't let me get past the imperfections of it not being crystal clear.
Hopefully all these quirks about the case will be resolved and an updated version is released.
The tech 21 evo check case looks great and because of the mesh you cannot see any dust or lint at all.

Update

I finally got a speck clear case that was cloudy free and was able to install with no lint. This will be my everyday case. It took a few tries to find this case. Luckily at Best Buy you can inspect and try on cases. Once I found a perfect one I went ahead and bought another case. It was well worth it to see in person and choose the best case. Out of three cases I looked at only one was perfect. The others had some flecks under the rubber that you can't remove and huge cloudy spots. So now I absolutely love it. I'm too picky for my own good.
This is a beautiful case if you find the right one.

Has anyone else noticed that on the soft acrylic by the volume rocker looks like its sagging? mind seems like it's bowing from the front and sagging when looking at the side view

Watch out for these clear TPU-like cases with no felt lining. Over time, if you do not clean them frequently, dust and debris will accumulate between the case and phone and cause pitting in the finish of the phone.

The best cases are those like the Apple Leather case which have a soft felt lining which can trap dirt between the fibers so they don't rub on the phone surface.
