Thanks for the link. Thought I'd give the case a try. White's on backorder. 🙁
Anyone know of a case like this with a cut out on the back for the Apple logo? I like having that show. 😱

With the amount of orders they must be getting with this deal, it will be waste of their time to check on that. Maybe they are clearing the stock as the new iPhone may not fit these cases.

Appears they are carrying these in the Apple store. Black/yellow and white/red are in stock. Check your black/yellow case, though - I've noticed they've had some weird plastic molding issues.

Edit: Speck is replacing the CandyShell I bought with the weird plastic molding issue. But I've noticed that the yellow trim on mine gets discolored by the jeans I'm wearing today so that turns me off quite a bit.
 
ive got black and yellow one and been using it for about 3 weeks now... and yes i have noticed that it does get dirty and turns into a musty colour... on youtube there is a vid by speck showing that these can be cleaned off with using an alcohol... it does work.. but still its not as bright as it was when i first got it.. but its not a prob for me tho...
the question is... does other colours get dirty also??? esp the white/red one...???

and anyone else with candyshell case have used it on universal dock??? i so want to get an universal dock.. but dont want to take the case out...
help or comments please...

UPDATE:
just went and bought Apple Universal Dock and works just fine without any adapters.... and its great!!
but am waiting for the switcheasy capsule neo to arrive.. which i have ordered... and i have seen on youtube that the adapter that comes with the case will work with candyshell... so its going to be AWESOME! will put some pics up later on when i get that.... so stay tuned...
 
I have both the white and the black Speck Iphone 3gs cases. Overall im happy with them. I have just 1 beef and that is my shure headphones wont work with this case. the thickness of the case makes the headphone plug not plug in all the way. I also tried a second no name brand of headphones and they also didnt fit. hole was there and everything but it was the same result. the headphone plug wouldnt plug all the way in due to the thickness of the case giving you that wonderful only 1 headphone working effect.

take off the case and both sets of headphones work perfectly.


this case always get steller reviews I wonder how many bothered to try a pair of headphones with this case on. cause you cant use em.
 
so where is the cheapest place to get this currently? any issues i should know about with this case? is it generally regarded as good?

it seems like one reviewer was bitching about it being a tight fit, but im fine with that since i wont take it off! i actually prefer it being snug. Do the darker case colors pick of scratches or is it pretty resistant?
 
how's the dock connector opening... i have a couple of non-apple cables that are kind of big.... is the opening snug on the real apple cord? or do you think there is room for the Cheapy USB cords?
 
it will push a little the bottom strip, will fit and work but this strip is the weakest part of the case so i really don't recommend that (i tried it once and never again).

ATT has them on backorder now too. I can't get a decent case at the moment.

At this point I just ordered a PixelSkin off of Amazon - backordered too. What I really want is a Otterbox case - since I can't have what I want and the next best thing is also out of stock I'm just going to go w/ a cheaper substitute until I get my Otterbox.
